Could the Lakers still do an S&T with Farmar? Not sure if there's any protocol because of the option.

He's and UFA. We renounced any rights we had to him I think.

no, the lakers didn't renounce his bird rights. they declined his qualifying offer that made him an UFA, but they still have his bird rights. they could technically do a sign n trade.
