Even if you downplay those assets like you are doing, we could always include a 3rd team

Vince's deal is partially guaranteed next year.

And like I said, if you want to take on Brand as well we can talk. Otherwise, none of those things you just listed come in the ball park of us talking about Iguodala straight up.

Something like Brand/Iguodala for Vince/Gortat might be worth doing... though the organization appears to have no interest in moving Iguodala.

Cavs have a $16 million TPE now. Any chance that could help us get Andre Iguodala?

The Sixers don't need to dump any salary since they got under the tax by trading Dalembert. I doubt they trade Iguodala unless a similarly talented young big or a name young player on his rookie deal comes back in the trade.

If the Sixers had wanted to dump Iguodala, they would have done so at the trading deadline (along with Dalembert) so as to get in on this summers FA action.

I'm not sure the Cavs have anyone on their roster that fits that description.

Hah, that would be worth consideration :) But now way the Cavs take on that salary.

Would you guys do this deal?

76ers Trades:
Elton Brand
Andre Iguodala
Thaddeus Young

Raptors Trades:
Reggie Evans (expiring)
Marcus Banks (expiring)
Belinelli (expiring)
DeRozan
TPE

Why for the 76ers:
This would really fast track our rebuilding process. Getting a ton of cap relief and got a young promising player in DeRozan.

76ers:
Jrue Holiday
Evan Turner
Demar DeRozan
Mareese Speights
Spencer Hawes

2011 line-up:
Jrue Holiday
Evan Turner
Demar Derozan
2011 lotto pick
Nene Hilario?

Why for the Raptors:
Got them a LOT of talent that would enable them to compete right now.

Would prefer the Deng /Gibson /pick deal. Cap space is fine but they need to have a few young stars before anyone would come here. I would build the roster through value trades and the draft before putting a lot of hope in free agency.

Sixers out- Brand, Iggy, L. Williams
Sixers in- Curry, Radmanovic, Horford, Pachulia

Magic out- Carter, Gortat, Bass
Magic in- Brand, Iggy

Hawks out- M. Williams, Horford, Pachulia
Hawks in- Gortat, L. Williams, Bass, Chandler, 2011 2nd round pick, 2012 2nd round pick

Knicks out- Curry, Chandler
Knicks in- Carter

Warriors out- Radmanovic, 2011 2nd round pick, 2012 2nd round pick
Warriors in- M. Williams

For Sixers- Curry/Radmanovic= 18 million in expiries. Kapono and Green is another 10.5 million. This would give us enough capspace to resign Horford and maybe sign Melo to a max deal next summer.

For Magic- Carter/Gortat/Bass for Brand/Iggy is a rumor going around.

For Hawks- They get a true center in Gortat, a young small forward in Chandler, and a 6th man or starting point guard (if they trade Bibby) in Williams. Bass could back up Smith. Those 2nd round picks will likely be in the 30s. Pachulia is on a bad contract.

For Knicks- With Gallinari being the future small forward, Chandler wont be getting many minutes. Carter would help ticket sales for a year and then the team can decline picking up his option. Shooting guard is also a position of need.

For Warriors- They are rumored to be interested in Marvin Williams.

^Pipe dream. Iguodala isn't going to get rid of Brand's contract AND get you Al Horford. I question whether Igudoala simply netting Horford is feasible.

But we also give up Lou who has some positive value and take on Pachulia who has negative value which helps even it out. I know it's a pipedream though :D Those are the only kind of trades I make up

Lou's value is minimal. He's probably worth an expiring contract and a couple 2nd rounders or a really late first.

How about Kirilenko + 13M trade exception (from Boozer sign-and-trade) for Iguodala and getting rid of Brand?

Iggy would be great alongside Deron even if that means having a declining Brand back up Millsap.

You guys clear about $12M this season and a lot the next 3-4 years, including $30M for next season alone.

I personally like this deal. But some here would not give Iguodala for just cap space but yet again Brand is included. Maybe they like it. Also I'm pretty sure majority of the Jazz fans would not do this trade.

Since Indiana is still in the market for a pg and Turner and Iggy might not complement each other well I propose the following:

Indy receives: Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams
Philly receives: Danny Granger and Jeff Foster

Trade ID #5607294

Sixers get the outside shooting and #1 scorer it needs in a addition to a big to bang down low while Indiana gets a pg and a small forward/2 guard who can complement Paul George. Thoughts?

I would do that Iggy for Granger trade.

That Iggy to Jazz trade is interesting, but I'm going back and forth on trading Iggy with Brand. I think I would rather trade Iggy by himself (more value) for a young player and keep Brand as a vet locker room guy and huge expiring contract in two years.

-INDY gets a young PG that could fit nicely under Obie.
-We get a tough big on an expiring deal and a future asset. Trade deadline we either try like hell to move Nocioni for an expiring or use our expirings to after a player. Turner eats up the backup PG minutes with Meeks becoming the new first guard off the bench.

Only if the ist round pick is unprotected. :D
