Wow man, no first round picks for a minute either, I mean I wanna know how they're planning on getting these mystery big men to take huge pay cuts and play for the minimum

According to Larry Coon, with the money the big 3 gave up, miami has a little over 8 mill left in capspace. he sign Miller to a backloaded deal and they'l have enough to get anothe decent guy

We werent supposed to be able to get anyone but minimums after the big 3. Then we made room for Miller. Then we made room for Haslem.

Why do you keep doubting Riley?

Although I believe trading all those 1st round picks were obviously a mistake.

They need draft picks in order to be good.

they're getting a lotto pick next yr thanks to Tor awesome GM BC lol, unless Tor some how make the playoffs highly doubt it, they would be lucky to get sub .500 record.

the TOR pick is going back to TOR in the Bosh SnT

oh my bad, and thats all it took for Tor to hook up Bosh with more money?

Again, something isn't quite right here while it may not be illegal, it is past the point where you can call it ethical.

Its past the point where you can call it ethical?????

WHAT specifically was done that is unethical?

It's not obvious to you?!

>_>

Sigh..

I think the real question is... is it obvious to you?

I've asked you MULTIPLE times to specifically lay out what he has done that is "unethical" or "manipulation".

Your answer? "I dont know but its not fair! WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Feel free to please lay out your reasoning, instead of continually dodging the question...

Yep. We just gave them their own pick back and a trade exemption, lol...

And just gave Cleveland 2 future 1sts and a trade exemption for Bron in that S&T...

Basically, traded 3 1st round picks for 2 top 10 players. I'd say thats a good deal...

And Bosh didnt really get hooked up with more money... just an extra year. His deal is 6 years for around 107mil...

Yes... it is.

In a significant turn of events, the Heat completed a sign-and-trade agreement Friday night with the Cleveland Cavaliers for free-agent forward LeBron James, who already had agreed to join the Heat,

As a Laker fan, I'm happy for the Heat, Riley pulled off a miracle, not sure if they are the three-best-ever, I would rather have Magic-Kareem-Worthy and I'm sure there are plenty of people who will point to MJ-Pippen-Rodmen, but they are def. the three best as of right NOW.

Rather than predict a bunch of gloom and doom for them- Roster-wise, I prefer to watch how they fill it out, everyone predicted the same thing with Boston three years ago and the got a decent Center (Perkins) and a decent PG (Rhondo) and won the Title.

I don't think the Heat will win the title their first year together, but it could happen, as they say on TV, "That's why they play the games"

Hahahahaha...

No one had any idea 2-3 years ago that it would even be possible. They talked about how great it would be during the Olympics. But it was not "planned". The Heat created space b/c there was going to be a ton of FAs. They didnt know which 3 FAs they were going to get... but the goal was to go out and get a big 3.

There was no collusion...

There is nothing illegal about players talking about how great it would be to play together. Thats not collusion...

But no... I dont believe these guys were signed, sealed, and delivered before July 1st. I think they knew it was a possibility... but they looked at their options. Bron TRIED to get Bosh to come to Cleveland. He didnt want to go. But once he saw that he wasnt going to be able to get help... he knew what he had to do...

Collusion is an agreement, sometimes illegal and therefore secretive, which occurs between two or more persons to limit open competition by deceiving, misleading, or defrauding others of their legal rights or to obtain an objective forbidden by law typically by defrauding or gaining an unfair advantage

Tell me, who's legal rights were impinged here? What market was closed? As long as the Miami Heat organization is not directly tampering with other teams' Free Agents, no rules were broken. The whole point of Free Agency is that players are free to go where they choose. That's their right, and free agents discussing with one another where they want to sign is nowhere near illegal under the CBA.
