Your partly right: No superstar will come to cleveland because they would fear the personal cosmic-sans backlash of the owner that will cause the people of Cleveland to hate them. Whats worse is Dan Gilbert says God may not let the King go to heaven. Dan is very powerful... I would chose to stay away from Cleveland for awhile also. Adam Wojo actually did a great article on the two of these guys and its true both deserve much much blame by the way they handled this over the last FULL YEAR

Lebron has done more for that city that people will ever imagine. The Cavs were a joke before he got there and he basically single-handedly resurrected the whole franchise. He carried a team with Big Z and Boobie Gibson to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history. Did anyone see that arena before he got there? The empty seats were a joke. Gilbert has a right to be mad and of course Lebron winning a title in Cleveland is more more significant than Miami but he made the choice to move on.

KG said it best: Don't let loyalty get in your way of winning as many titles as possible. Cleveland will forgive him eventually.

Yes, he couldn't have said it any better. Loyalty to money is hard to pass on. Loyalty to a team, however, is very ease to pass on.

No he is wearing #1. I've heard that LeBron's salary will start at like 14million a year. I don't fault the guy for wanting to win championships.

"WAH, these players sacrificed money and blah blah blah to play together, blah blah". they are still each making around FIFTEEN MILLION dollars for the next 6 years. $90 MILLION is not chump change. If you can't make $90 mil last you for the rest of your life and still live in ridiculous luxury, well... you are an idiot.

The Superfriends are leaving enough money on the table to enable the Heat to sign Mike Miller and, more importantly to our fanbase, our stalwart working class hero Udonis Haslem back. That is a hell of a lot more than I can EVER remember any player doing before, especially any player just entering or in their prime.

You missed my point entirely. It's not like they are going to starve because they gave up 3 million a year each. They are still uncertain that they can win a title, so they are trying to get even more 'big name' players to back them up, so come june they aren't sitting at home getting laughed at for their pompousness.

To give you an idea remember Sprewell quit basketball after being offered a 3/22million dollar contract and said he can not feed his kids on that type of money. He held out wanting 14million per or 3/42m. These guys are so delusional sometimes on their value and what they make they refuse to accept winning / sacrafice / money as an entity to win. Yes Amare for sure fell into this category, but like many GMs say when they sit down with a free agent. What are you chasing, lifestyle, money, respect, championships, hometown, you cant have them all if your prioritizing one above

There's also the whole "no state income tax" thing. On such a large sum of money the income taxes must be ludicrous. I'm no expert on the matter (I think income taxes are total B.S.), but I'd be willing to say that the end result of playing in Miami won't be much less money than staying for that extra money in Cleveland and having it taxed to hell. He got a $100,000 fine for being over emotional. The NBA (read: Stern and cronies) have been ridiculous with stupid fines. Say a bad word about an obviously terrible call in a close game in a post-game interview? Here... have a fine. Show any type of emotion on the court... technical foul. Just get robots to play the freaking game already.
