I don't know what to think of this. First, he ended on bad terms with Riley his first time around and called out Bosh in the past. But he seemed to keep his ego in check for Cleveland last year for the most part, and didn't seem to be too much of a distraction. He'd be an upgrade over anything the Heat have there now and could be used to negate the size advantage teams like ORL, BOS, and LA would have down low. I just don't think his ego would allow him to be a 4th option. If it's true that Big Z is interested in the Heat, I'd probably go that route.

If the Heat are smart they go for Nesterovic and Kurt Thomas.

Didn't Z once said a few months ago he wouldn't like to play anywhere else?

I hope not..I'd imagine Z would be heavily criticized by the fans if he jumps ship to Miami

I don't want Shaq on the Heat. I'm actually looking forward to watching them play and I dislike Shaq too much for that.

Laker/Kobe fans ain't going to be happy about this! On the way to getting more rings than Kobe and more Finals MVPs.

Because Shaq is basically a net negative on the court right now. Cleveland learned that the hard way last year in the playoffs

LOL Shaq will probably play till he's 45 now. Hard to refuse 7 free rings.

I'd make up with Shaq just to annoy the Kobe fans

It's true, and he'll likely always have more Finals MVPs than Kobe, assuming the Heat dominate Kobe's final few years. Shaq will probably hang around till he can barely walk just to rack up 10 rings.

Of the options at center, this is who they should pursue (in order): Big Z, Shaq (if conflicts with Bosh and Riley are over), Kwame Brown, Ben Wallace, Anthony

LOL if you think he'll win any rings on Miami. He is the reason Cleveland lost to Boston this year. Interior D is probably the single most important thing on a championship team and Shaq provides none of it. Miami needs good to great defensive big men who can anchor the team D not a washed up, ring chasing clown to bring them down. Bosh isn't exactly the best of defenders.

Big Z would likely be a Cav for life. Ben Wallace is good option, he's still productive. Kwame lol that'd be interesting, watching him win a bunch of rings.

The Cavs lost their mojo after Jamison arrived, it meant Hickson and Varejao got less minutes, and that cost them. Shaq was the key in their 13 game winning streak. Their defense was great with Shaq, and awful with Jamison.

I would be funny if Riley had Shaq run a bunch of drills, and then he tells him "Yea, just what I thought. You are still a fat ass."

I REALLY would LOVE to see Shaq Kobe & Phil together one least time. Their fans deserve it. It still would be ring chasing (so Shaqs in) and it would be the right way for him to retire.

Don't want him on the heat. He burned the bridge, and I wish he would just fade away from the nba already.
