8. Kings (Bold Prediction #2) (49-33)
9. Spurs (47-35)
10. Jazz (45-37)
11. Hornets (42-40)
12. Grizzles (40-42
13. Clippers (34-48)

14. Detroit (25-57)
15. Raptors (13-69)

MVP: Kevin Durant!! (Bold Prediction #4
ROY: DeMarcus Cousins (Bold Prediction #5) < Hence #2
DPOY: Dwight Howard
COY: Scott Brooks!!
MIP: Goran Dragic (Bold Prediction #6) :D

Suns Numbers
Steve Nash 15.6 Pts/2.8 Reb/8.7 Ast
Jason Richardson 17.1/5.1/2.3
Grant Hill 6.8/5.1/2.6

Dwyane Collins 0.2/0.8/0.1

(110.6 PPG, 43.6 RPG 23.2 APG)

Also...
-Lowest attendance ever to an NBA game at one of the Toronto Raptors games.
-Goran Dragic gets that award mostly because of his efficiency, and more magic performances on National television...
-The Cavs rally behind Dan Gilbert at the beginning of the Season and start out with a 3-0 run... and then lose Mo Williams. And then Jamison asks to be traded. And Delonte West shoots someone.
- Everyone gets super excited about Wall after he dazzles at the beginning (a la Brandon Jennings) but still ends up not winning the ROY because of inconsistency (a la Jennings) and short injuries.
-Detroit has SUPER chemistry problems... so they suck...
-Barbosa smiles a lot. And still manages sucky numbers.

People keep thinking the Hornets will do better than the Suns... WHY? and don't just say... "Chris Paul, derp derp derp". The Suns even as constructed right now have a far superior team to the disaster that is NOH.

We're 3-7 in our last 10 vs New Orleans. Chris Paul takes Nash outta his game and when he's healthy they're a playoff team. They won 50 games in 08' and 09'. Not sure how that's a disaster.

They aren't the same team as they were back then though. All of the players that made that team good have suffered major degradation to their games, whether its from age showing, or just losing it. Paul will need an unprecedented statistical season to get them 50 wins this year. And I'm thinking that they are gonna end up moving one or two more pieces that would be important to their success, what with their financial woes.

the only team i see challenging the lakers is the healthy portland. wont be surprise if oklahoma will end #1. but its gonna be lakers vs celtics or magic this year. i dont believe on the new big three as i dont think they will complement each other like the big 3 in boston did.

I think you're underrating Chris Paul. He's the only player since Magic in 89-90 to average 21ppg/11 assists in back to back seasons. When healthy he always carries that squad to the playoffs. They have Paul, West, Peja, Okafor, Thorton, Posey, Collison but they could use some depth bigs for sure.

I think you're overrating the rest of the team.

Barring a horrible wind surfing accident, the Heat win 64
Total would be higher, but they'll shut it down late

I must be the only person who expects a big improvement from the Clippers. If they keep Rasual Butler they have a vgood 8 man deep rotation. I guess health will p;lay a major factor for them (as always).

West:
1. Lakers
2. Thunder
3. Trailblazers (Assumption: only Greg Oden gets injured)
4. Nuggets (Assumption: George Karl returns)
5. Mavs
6. Rockets (Assumption: Yao Ming plays at least 60 games)
7. Spurs (Reminder: Tiago Splitter)
8. Suns (Assumption: Hakim Warrick gets double teams in the post and passes the ball, Channing Frye improves his face up game, everyone on the bench steps up, Gani Lawal becomes a rich man's Lou)
Otherwise, I'll put the Clippers.

East:
1. Heat (Assumption: team chemistry is good and the green leaves are no garbage players)
2. Magic
3. Bulls
4. Celtics
5. Bucks
6. Hawks
7. Bobcats
8. 76ers

MVP: Kevin Durant (don't know why someone consider this a bold prediction)
ROY: Evan Turner
SMOY: impossible to predict
COY: Skiles if Bucks hit 50-win mark, otherwise Gentry if Suns make it to the playoffs
MIP: Hakim Warrick. Do you need me to elaborate? Or hopefully, RoLo. Brook Lopez seems likely as well.
DPOY: Dwight Howard

You can't just add up each players PPG to equal the team's PPG. Sometimes players don't play for a period of time (injured or whatevs) but their PPG don't go down or up because of that. The team's will change though.

I didn't even try to figure that out. I just threw some numbers out there. But considering not everybody plays the 82 games. That wouldn't be the right formula anyways.
