Vegas Summer League 2010

I'm excited for the first summer league game tomorrow night. Does anyone here know a way to watch the game, since I don't have NBATV at my current place, and I'd prefer not to have to buy the summer league broadband package?

Is Blake in the team? on the Clippers site, they've named in in the team which i was excited about. But with the photos they say the summer league team are practising with Blake Griffin, that makes me think that Blake isn't in the team.

Only practicing. He won't participate in the summer league games.

There should be streams available online, but RGM frowns on having links posted on the boards.

Key Match-ups

Eric Bledsoe vs John Wall

Rookie point guards that shared the backcourt for Kentucky team that produced 5 first round draft picks in the 2010 draft. Wall, the number 1 pick in the draft is touted as the next great point guard of this league. Bledsoe, who is 3 inches shorter than Wall, was forced to play out of position during their college tenure. Now that he is in the NBA, he will be expected to return back to his natural position. Which Kentucky guard will lead their team to victory?

DeAndre Jordan vs JaVale McGee

Jordan and McGee have played against each other a few times since entering into the league in the 2008 NBA Draft. McGee was a little more polished, but both are still raw with tons of potential. As they each enter into their 3rd season, both are expected to assume greater roles on their teams. McGee has the security of at least 2 more seasons on the Wizards, but he will be expected to man the middle as the starting center for the Wizards. Jordan will be playing for a contract extension or a new contract altogether as he will be a restricted free agent next summer.

I have a really good feeling about Bledsoe, I know he might not get much PT but I have a feeling he'll end up being more important to the Ciippers than anyone would have expected.

I can't wait to see the Wall/Bledsoe matchup. I bet EB is gonna be pumped up for this game to show that he can match and maybe even get the better of Wall.

I'd love to see Bledsoe out play Wall although Wall looked good today after a rough start. I actually really like our starting lineup for the summer league if thats correct, all seem to have some exciting talent, Bledsoe, Warren, Aminu, Sofo, and Deandre

Hopefully our team will give some hope to those fans who are frustrated with our offseason moves. A lot of eyes are going to be on Aminu, since we're a little thin at the 3 spot. Will his shot be falling, how's the defense looking? Wall was very impressive on Sunday imo. Even with the 8 turnovers. He was a little anxious to start the game and should be better adjusted in Monday night. Bledsoe played against him everyday in practice so they should both have fun with the match-up while still playing very aggressively. DJ is going to have his hands full with McGee who had a pretty nice game himself. I hope that he at least keeps up with him. I'm really excited to see Sofo play with the guys. I'm sure he'll be a little intimidating to the Wizards. Warren has a lot to prove after dropping so far. It should be fun and I can't wait.

I'm so glad to see game threads back, great job MK! I'm also excited to get to see some of these guys play finally. I have been incredibly thirsty for Clippers basketball (I missed the last 15 or so games of the season b/c of work

) and this will definitely help me out. I'm particularly excited to watch DJ and Bledsoe. Should be an exciting game!
