Bucs need to trade for Chad Johnson...

we need another playmaker on offense. Garcia wouldn't have a problem getting Chad the ball or Galloway. dbl team one and the other is open.

also if we don't get Chad, the Giants might trade Shockey. could we get Shockey for Chris Simms and picks? Simms would be a better backup than Lorenzen or Wright.

Our TE's are set, so I don't see a trade for Shockey happening. Alex Smith works in our offense better than Shockey would anyway. Plus now that Troupe is there, with Stevens resigned, we are looking pretty deep at TE.

As for a trade using another player/picks.. I don't see any reason. We just spent the second pick on a slot reciever that will take a lot of pressure off galloway. Pair that with a great recieving TE duo in Troupe and Smith and I don't think theres any reason to trade away assets for a reciever at this point. Especially considering it's never smart to buy high on a reciever, especially an ego trip like Johnson.
