How badly do you want that 8th seed?!?

Post#1 » by soxxx » Sun Jul 11, 2010 5:10 pm

Assuming the Heat are the 1 Seed then how badly do you want that 8th seed. I'm a knicks fan so im keeping my fingers crossed we get the 8th seed so we can take on the Heat. I would take the 8th seed over the 7th or 6th. Knocking out Lebron would be the ultimate.

Back in 99 the knicks knocked off the 1 Seed in the first round, so I would love nothing more than to do it again. <33333

Good Luck!!!!

as much as i dont like the heat, there is almost no chance that heat are defeated in the playoffs by a team not named the lakers.

but i sure hope they lose in the first round

I stopped reading at, assuming.

We could just as easily assume that Wade and "the quitter" will get in a fight over who has the biggest mirror in the locker room, and BOOM "the quitter" blows out another elbow just like in the playoffs this year, and the heat become the 8th seed.

Anybody remember that horrible elbow injury?

What ever happened to that?

One thing would be for sure and that would be you would have the entire nation behind you. Minus the bandwagoners and those fair weather fans in Miami of course.

The Cavaliers will likely have home-court in the first round...despite what everyone thinks they know.

I would love the idea of Boston ending up with the 8th seed. Chicago would be another good choice.

THeres no point in going for 8th you should focus on the lottery and good prospects. Then next year show the Heat whos boss.

I still think that if we don't do a total rebuild, and we re-load, that we will be between the 3rd and 5th seed.

I'm not trying to sound like a troll but you honestly believe you will end up with a better record than two of the following five teams...Heat, Celtics, Magic, Hawks, Bulls.

Good luck.

Yes, Hawks, then depending on how Celtics play, either Celtics or Bulls, not sure how Bulls are going to come together but they're basically last year's Utah now.

How are the Cavs better than the Bulls, Hawks?

The Hawks resigned their bestplayer. We lost ours.
The Bulls added a very good player. We added...LeBron's mom to our bench.

The last part of your argument clearly states that we would a team that will win more than 53 games during the regular season in the crowed west. So with the Bulls being last years Jazz they should win around 50-60 games in the east.

We barely managed to win 60 with Lebron on our team last season.

^^To be fair, LeBron and a couple of other starters sat out the last 6 games. We could have easily won more than 61 games.

To be fair, LeBron sat out for 4, Mo sat out for 2, Antawn, Parker sat out for 1.
