Vilma

The writing is on the wall for a John Vilma trade. What do you think is a realistic trade involving him? Picks? Players?

Personally I think Denver is the perfect fit. Right now they are playing D.J. Williams on the inside, when he is more of an WLB. Williams led the league in TFL in his rookie year and is a great pass rusher and has end to end speed. Both played at Miami together and so it's fair to assume they would work well together now. Maybe a 3rd rounder and a player like Tony Sheffler for Vilma, and in today's market I would say that would be the best we can get.

I wouldn't mind that trade. But I'd like to get somehow a 2nd rounder.

Sounds good.

Another rumored trade was that Vilma goes to Detroit in exchange for Shaun Rogers, who could play NT for us at 6-4 and about 340. Reports say the deal almost went down last year.

The Bengals are another team that might take a look at Vilma. He's a great character guy and boy, their defense need some new guys...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...
