Stern isn't going to look into this unless he's pushed. No reason to shed skepticism on the league.

No investigation please.

+1, I'm glad Rupaul left too. Addition by subtraction. I'd rather not pay him an average salary of $20 million a year.

The league is a business, and this Miami trio is good for business.

Now, unless overwhelming facts come out, nothing will be done. But, I don't see Stern going out of his way to start any "search party" to see what happened this off-season. Especially if Forbes is right in terms of the Heat's value and marketing opps for the NBA going forward.

Extremely. It's one of the better articles written since the news of LBJ to Miami broke.

Actually, you need to review the league's tampering rules before presenting false implications as fact. That's what needs to be done.

Well, he was apart of the "pact" apparently.

We can offer him 5-years / $30+ million.

Calling out each band wagoner I see. Just so all the real Heat fans can enjoy what great accomplishments their management were able to achieve.

U don't know me foool!

I watched the Heat since it's birth in 88 when Seikaly was picked in the 1st round.

I went to many games in the old Miami Arena in Overtown before the AAA was built in Bayside.

I've lived in Carol City, Wynwood, Opa-Locka, Hialeah & NMB through all those years and I'm still here.

Hell back then our county was not even called Miami, it was called Dade County, years later they added Miami to it.

Don't be so ignorant by looking at one detail and assuming it as facts.

I've lurked around here for years but never bothered to join. But here in Miami we were going crazy at the last minute when it got reported Wade was in Chicago and cause his kids/hometown he might leave us.

So I joined so I could chat with what I thought seemed like a reputable sports forum.

^ You don't have to explain yourself, bro. This site is full of Lakers fans that have never visited California in their lives.

Well, he had Pippen with him from his fourth season onward so we never got to see whether he'd try looking for greener pastures after repeatedly coming up short with no rings to show for it.

Like when Kobe tried forcing a trade during that unsuccessful dry stretch between Shaq leaving town and Pau arriving. Who thought that would ever happen besides Ray Allen?

Good point, cause the same is happening wit our team. Though I welcome those new fans.

I had a co-worker last nite that was what I thought a die-hard Pistons fan say that now he will be rooting for the Heat as well as his team cause he has been living here in Miami for 5 years. Some were laughing at him but I was thinking: it's all good.

The fact that the Fakers are trying to come down of Heat fans only shows they are worried.

It's also the very article I started the thread with (before the other thread was merged in). And the author said about the article "In all honesty, it's really just the the tip of the iceberg"

Who the hell cares? When you're a fan of a team, you are a fan of the team. Whether you live in that respective city/state or not, has NOTHING to do with being a fan or not.

I think that's his point, Flash
