 You're just a hater.

Both fighters are 12-2, I think it will be a good match.

I'd rather see a huge tourney, but this will be a very good fight.

It could be a decent fight, but I think Jacare is on a tier above Kennedy.

It's not a great fight to arbitrarily pick for your vacant MW championship, and is especially disappointing because of all the talk about a tournament in the one division Strikeforce has enough depth to have one in.

Just more evidence of Strikeforce's lack of organization and long term planning.

I tend to agree. It should be a very nice fight, but it lacks the star power you would want in a fight to fill a belt held by a very popular (by Strikeforce's standards) fighter. Lawler should be in the 185 title fight IMO. Sure, he lost to Shields and Babalu, but he is still a name and still can beat both those guys. A 4 fighter tourney with Jacare vs. Kennedy and Lawler vs. Cung Le should have been the plan.

Cung Le said he wasn't interested in a tourney. Wanted to just do "super fights" or something like that.

I know, but I suspect he might change his mind if it was only a 4 fighter tourney and his first fight was a super fight with Lawler.

Considering the tourney idea has been nixed, I'd like to see Le vs. Lawler as a regular fight.

I would have loved the tournament but I am happy with Kennedy vs. Jacare. I would have preferred for Kennedy to be built up more since both guys represent the future of Strikeforces's middleweight division but it should still be an interesting bout.
