Great guy. I will definitely miss him. He kinda over stayed his welcome though due to not progressing for the last few years, he's actually regressed quite a bit. Hope he can come back on a much lower salary in a year.

Good guy but just wasn't the same player with all the injuries and off court issues.

This means Nash is the only one left from SSOL era (considering Hill came in the last season).

"I'm on some new sh**, I'm chuckin my deuces
I'm moving on to something better, better, better
No more tryin to make it work
You made me wanna say bye bye, say bye bye, say bye bye to Barbosa!!!!!"

:D Thanks Chris Brown for those lovely lyrics, and props to Sarver for finally getting rid of the car going 200 mph's with no steering wheel or breaks, Leandro Barbosa.

I liked him a lot. Hated when he missed easy lay-ups, but a nice kid. I hope the best for him.

I will definitely miss Barbosa! Great contributions, I know he played poorly last year, but at times you saw flashes of his true self. I will only remember the good things from Barbosa! Now only Nash remains from the 07 team. Such a change in three years isn't it? I believe hill is actually the second longest serving Sun now.

Tons of memories. Sure he made some bone-headed mistakes at times though. Remember though, for a while he was practically our only bench player, but what a player he was for us. Big fan favorite as well.

06-07 sixth man of year- hope he finds success with his new team, be it the Raptors or another team. I really thought he'd be with us for his whole career, but at least if he does stay with the raptors, he will be familiar with the Colangelos, and Boris Diaw.

See ya round, Barbs.

Really gonna miss LB and very sad he didn't quite fulfill his potential. There were times there when the only person who could stop him was in fact himself! Call me a glutton for punishment but I think a change of environment could really do him some good not to mention being relied upon more offensively.

Thanks for the memories LB and thanks for being an awesome lockeroom guy and community member.

Thank you for being the nicest, most humble, honest, normal athlete I've probably ever had the pleasure of rooting for. An absolute dream. Great chemistry, sleeping in the gym, crying during the joke trade to NY, being a ridiculous spark off the bench, trying your hardest no matter what, making us laugh......

You are DEFINITELY Phoenix's Son, Leandro. Gonna miss you, bro.

Thank you for the memories Barbosa. I remember watching a very moving and touching program about your early childhood and Brazil, and immediatly you became one of my favourite players. I will miss you alot. Good luck in your future Barbosa!!

 It wasn't a big accomplishment when we had players like Walter Mccarty coming off the bench back then.. Barbosa had no chance getting good minutes with the bench we have now.

Barbosa is a good guy with a big heart, but his talent isn't needed on this team now that we have the players we do. I hope he does well in Toronto. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded to NY soon. Good luck Barbs!

I wonder how Nash feels about this trade? Him and Barbs are like best friends.

barbosa was a nice player and a great person. I thought it was a mistake for phx to anoint him as nash's heir apparent when clearly he was not a pure PG. he came to camp ready and in shape. he followed the coaches instructions and did exactly what the teams asked from him. its unfortunate that his mom passed away and his injuries finally took his chance to play up to his potential. I will always like Barbosa and I ask everyone here that how would you be if ur mom died? Barbosa went through a lot the past yrs but he never pouted or complained. he went to play night in night out!

Yeah Steve is the only one left from those days.

Barbosa is one of my favorite Suns players and I'm sad to see him go, but am looking forward to this new-look Suns team.
