TMac's body will not hold up during the regular season no matter how many minutes he played. He barely made a half of season with the Knicks playing 20 mins a game. Dude is done unfortunately.

Dude he just came off surgery of course he wasn't gonna be able to play last year or play effectively, he has had a lot of time off and from what I hear has gotten back in shape.

He'll be a great addition, quit hating.

Nobody is not hatting... I would love to have TMAc if he's healthy.

But the reality is he had over a year to rehab that knee in which he missed most of the season (came back in Feb). He claimed he was healthy in NY. He was clearly not. Plus he did not put up decent numbers in NY...I just don't trust his body.

The question to the people against signing TMAC is, for 1.8 million a year, who can we sign that would help us more?

After resigning Fish, do the Lakers have anything left to offer Tmac?

Post#53 » by 62245 » Sat Jul 17, 2010 7:01 pm

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/4212 ... cy-mcgrady

he could give kobe and artest alot of rest during the season , which would only help the lakers in the postseason with a fresh kobe bryant

thoughts?

Its aint going to happen,

Kupchak says he has permission from Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss to spend the full mid-level exception if he is convinced he can get players to help the team capture a three-peat championship next season. But Kupchak won't just spend it because he can. If there aren't any attractive veterans who will play for $1.8 million or if the Lakers spend more than they would like to in retaining Brown, then the chances of one of the other summer league players such as Jaaber or Strawberry making the team increases.
