NHL 2011

Post#1 » by TNBT » Tue Jul 13, 2010 6:24 am

Does anyone know when this game is going to be released? I can't wait to get it, and I asked in a store yesterday, but the guy said it wasn't even on their list of games that they're ordering in, so I have to rely on you guys to help me.

HELP ME!!!!

Are they going to have the actual CHL arenas?

II haven't heard or seen anything to do with the game yet. What features does it have? What makes it better than 2010? I also want to know about what prospects are available in this game. Is it just the NHL and AHL players that are in this game? Or are junior players who have been drafted available as well?

I'm really excited to get my hands on this game and start up my franchise. The biggest problem for me will be deciding which team to choose. I'm a Red Wings fan first and foremost, but I know so much about them that there isn't that interesting aspect of dealing with a new team. I like a bunch of teams, so I'm going to have to decide which team to roll with. I'm thinking Philly or New Jersey.

This will be the only sports game I will buy this fall...NBA and Madden don't impress me too much compared to last years version..

As long as they got rid of the one timer and wrap around glitches and tweaked the rest of the gameplay with improvements, I'll be happy. Another thing I absolutely hate is the fact that you can hug the boards with no one around you. There's a lot of lame asses online that see you coming to hit them, they hug the boards so your hit doesn't work even if you hit them straight on, then they keep going.

One timers work way too often and the fact that a guy can skate back and forth behind the net, find a small opening to skate out, skate one way and top shelf it on the other is super annoying. When guys do it to me I do it right back until I get a 5 goal lead so it doesn't really bother me, but it kills the experience online for sure.

One timers seem like the only way I can score in this game other than slappers sort of like what you described. I'm terrible on 1 v 1 situations with the goalie. The easiest way to score, for me, is to get a 2 v 1 or skate the puck down with another guy on my team on the opposite side of the ice. I'll set him up for a 1 timer where he's skating towards the net and the goalie doens't have much of a shot.

Yeah, I like it very much. Not really into computer games, but I couldn't have missed this one.

NHL 11 lets you create highlight reel moments as you can experience adrenaline-pumping NHL action with bigger resolution and graphics. That’s the most appropriate and exciting feature of the game. Overall it’s a unique game so guys must have one to spend your leisure time in a perfect way.
