It's interesting, but I don't think we'll give DJ up unless we are blown away by an offer. I like Prince and he would fit in well here, but I think something more would need to be added for me to pull the trigger, like Daye or a future protected first, since we are also giving up a lot of salary relief.

Yeah DJ may not be much now, but we have really high hopes for him. We want more than what he's currently worth and I don't think teams will really go for it since he's still a big work in progress.

To the other guys, I understand where you're coming from, that's why i want Jordan.
Would summers or a seconder help, or does it have to be a future first?? I don't think I'd give Daye up though.

I understand your opinion on Daye, since I look at him the same way. Though, I think it would have to be a future first to make this type of deal happen.

I would not give up DJ for Prince who could very well leave at the end of the season. He's from LA, but would most likely rather play for the other LA team. A lot of fans from other teams want us to trade DJ, but it just doesn't make sense at this time. He has potential, the organization has hopes of him being the guy next to Griffin down the road, plus he's on a very inexpensive contract at the moment. For him to be traded in any deal, it would likely have to be a deal for a very good player that was really going to make an impact on this team. It just has to make sense for us.

That's fair. I know how valuable a good young center is since we haven't had one for so long.
I just thought Prince would be a good fit at the clippers and he would most likely stay since he's a LA guy and your line up is a legit playoff team.
Anyways, thanks for your thoughts...

Jordan is so raw. I doubt he will ever really develop into a solid NBA center. If offered, the Clips should do such a deal. Prince is a great pro. I don't really like the options at the 3 right now- Aminu is too raw and Gomes should be a reserve.

He wouldn't want to jump ship to the Lakers because they already have a starting 3 in Artest. Prince would not want to come off the bench, nor should he.

Yes Yes Yes

Big Sofo can backup Kaveman if anything. DJ is all hype.
