I kept McFadden at #1 instead of Stewart for two reasons:
1. Higher ceiling. McFadden could be an all-time great. I seriously don't think it will happen, but it's more likley he will be the next Eric Dickerson than Stewart is the next Emmitt, or Mendenhall is the next LT.
2. Most of McFadden's faults, which I think Mayock covered very well in his piece in the other thread, are correctable with good coaching and effort. Stewart's faults are what they are and probably always will be.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Just stating a fact. I love mcFadden, but Dallas does not need to gut this draft to get him.

i think he lacks break away speed and that will kill him in the NFL. i really don't see him as a franchise changing back..

He played in the fastest conference in the country and consistently broke off huge runs. No way he lacks breakaway speed.

from the games i've seen everytime he was on the way to break a huge run a player would catch up to him.

he sometimes can't out-run college defenders but then he goes out and runs like a 4.29 or whatever.

You got to say though, break away speed or not, he's pretty good at making babies.
