they problem with having Hayes on the floor is opponent can slack off and double team Yao or whoever
same case with Okafor
with Yao, Scola, Ariza, Martin, Brooks -> someone will be opened and still can knock down shot

I don't think Jefferson is on Morey's radar (aside from the fact that the Jazz got him) simply due to the fact that hes not good at drawing fouls

I'd would have been nice to trade Andersen, Jeffires & Alexander for Tyson Chandler, but it's not the end of the world. A backup center is not the missing piece. It's a superstar/go-to player, preferably a wing. If Morey gives up too many assets now for a backup center, there's a good chance he won't have enough to trade for a go-to player later on. Also there's still a decent chance Dalembert can be had for cheap (expirings, maybe a future pick) at the deadline.
Finally, as a guy who watched every Magic game over the last two years, Gortat is not overpaid.

3.1 TPE or half the MLE is not a lot for a backup center

If Brad Miller comes to Houston then the next move i want to see is Granger and Smith in a Rockets jersey in Toyota Center but that is dreaming

That was before we added Ariza, Budinger, Martin, to Brooks & Battier...

If teams want to double Yao while Oakfor is on the court fine...

Oakfor is the best player in the League at crashing the offensive boards, he would have a field day with the amount of put backs he would get IF we miss outside shots from our shooters...

Oh well, it was fun to think about. Guess we'll just move on with Miller.

jahlil okafor has some of the best post moves in the last 30 years and the dude can't even get on the floor

Now we need to trade for Iggy.

Ariza, Jefferies, Taylor, Future Pick via NY for Iggy.

PG: Brooks, Lowry
SG: Martin, Budinger
C: Yao, Hayes, Andersen
SF: Iggy, Battier
PF: Scola, Hill, Patterson

I can roll with that.

Doesn't make sense for Philly. if we couldn't land Iggy with McGrady's expiring, I doubt we'd be able to get him with that package. Maybe at the deadline? I'm sure they'd want to see how an Iggy and Turner duo works out.

Rockets wanted Thad Young or Speights along with Iggy. Just stop being greedy Morey and take Iggy.
