Vesely is a monster!!!

He can fly through the air, run up and down the court with anyone, and has a beautiful shot from outside.

When he fills out sky is the limit!

we shall see what Barnes has this year, at NC, and if he will forsure opt to the NBA draft.

I prefer Vesely at this point, but we'll see what happens, for both of them over the course of the year.

I saw Barnes play live once this year. His team was playing at my college's court (Drake). I didn't even know he and his team were playing until I went there to go work out and I had to walk around the game to go to the weight room and just, "Hey...Ames is playing...and that looks like Harrison Barnes."

It was pretty meaningless to watch. He was basically walking up and down the court obviously not trying. He still had like 20 and 8 at half when I quit watching, though. I imagine playing Des Moines North doesn't exactly bring out the competitor in most teams.

Actually it was this game that I was at:

That happened during the second half that I didn't see though. Ames was going the other way when I was watching.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Another guy I'm excited to watch is Alec Burks. 6"6 athletic SG out of Colorado, was just a freshman last year.

He actually won big 12 freshman of the year over Xavier Henry and Bradley. He just played at a school who doesn't get as much recognition. His numbers were phenomenal for a freshman.

I've seen some mock drafts with him going top 10. Twolves are in need of a SG badly, so it will be interesting to see if he becomes a household name this year, and puts himself in the mix for a high pick.

I noticed Burks as well. He's raw and twig skinny but he could be something interesting by the draft next year.

Although I said the same thing about Scotty Hopson 2 years ago.
