Question for real clippers fans..

Post#1 » by VCSupporter » Thu Jul 15, 2010 8:24 am

How do you guys feel about Blake Griffin?

I looked threw your last couple forum pages and found nothing on him really. He seems to be flying under the radar.
I mean to other teams and states, we look at him like hes going to be big and can pull off 25/15 games on the regular.

Are you guys building around him? Is he looked at like your future right now or just an extra 15 ppg with some rebounds?
Literally havent heard a word about him from any sports station since his injury.

I would take blake over any rookie drafted this year.

No doubt he's our future. And as far as i know Clippers are terribly excited about him playing.

And yes im pretty sure we are building around him and EJ wouldn't you say other Clipper fans?

Everyone's super excited to see him play. I mean, we've been waiting for the past year to see him in action. And yes, he's the face and future of the franchise. Take it this way, no news is good news.

Let's just say that Blake debuting and playing this year is one of the biggest moments for us in years.

The young core should be Griffin, Gordon, AND Kaman. Kaman is only 28 years old. He is one of the best centers in the NBA and they should value that- meaning keep him unless a great trade comes along.

I think Griffin will win ROY. He will average around 20 and 10. Baron Davis will also have a good season because I think he will be focused all year long because this team has a chance at making the playoffs.

Watching Blake Griffin practice with the Clips...can't wait to see him play for real...looks great...

Pretty much all of us are anxious and excited to see him play. The injury was very unfortunate for us, but terrible for him, because there's not a player on the team that wants to be on the court more than him. I'd probably go as far as to say that that statement probably rings true for the majority of the league. The guy is all about the right stuff. The things that most players find tedious and burdensome, he gladly welcomes. His attitude rubs off on people. That's one of the primary things that I believe will be the biggest reward of having him on the team and in the game. His style of play is infectious.

Gooooood.

This is exactly what I wanted to see.

With "the decision" and rookies, and free agency it feels like his return has literally been ignored.
To be honest he looks like hes going to be one of my favorite players.

Even though their not my team I hope clippers silence everybody and blake leads the damn charge.

Blake aka Lebron x2 aka King Killer... willing to bet blake bullys and shuts lebron down threw out the season

The reason he has been under the radar is because he has been injured this past year! II'm really excited to see him play in the NBA regular season. He was great in college, He was the MVP in the summer league, and he looked really impressive in the Pre-season. Based on what I've seen from him, he has Superstar potential that can change a franchise. But of course we have to see what he does in the NBA regular season. The one thing I really want to see from him is his ball handling skills. He seems like he has the ability to pass out of double teams and with shooters like EG and Foye, I hope he can rack up the assists.
