Great looks like were going to see more of iso ball while run the clock down and finally jack up a shot while fading.

Jay the Lakers are probably gonna add vet PF/C the ones left available in the Lakers price range are Fesenko, Kwame, Josh Boone, Joe Smith, Juwan Howard, Kurt Thomas, Etan Thomas, Jason Collins, and Magloire. I think all these guys can be had for whats left of the MLE or the vets minimum.

I always liked Shannon Brown. I thought he was a VERY NICE pickup for us, and fit our team better than Farmar.

We need youth/athleticism. Plus, he's got some great playoff experience. I wouldn't wanna let both our young PG's walk away. I really hope we can hold on to him. I actually prefer Brown to Bell.

Count me as someone who thought the Lakers would hold on to their 1.8 mill (3.6 later).

If Ebanks and/or Strawberry are ready for 15 minutes a game I think I'd let him walk.

Hey, not everyone we sign to the roster are going to fit the Lakers system perfectly. I don't know what some of you guys expected out of him when he was brought over. For what he's likely to be offered and his role on the team anyway, I think he's worth the roster spot. The best case scenario is he comes back and has a career year off the bench and picks up his shooting efficiency, which I'm hopeful he will. Gotta remain positive this time of year.

Brown coming back would be good. Like others stated, I like the athleticism a lot and if memory serves didn't he have a real nice game or two with Kobe out last year? I know a couple of games does not a player make, but he has flashed the upside IMO, if not the consistency.

And I think we can use the $$$ earmarked for Bell to get ourselves a legit backup C. That could be critical if Bynum's injury woes would continue and with all the minutes Gasol has played over the last three years.

I don't like how he handles the ball in terms of decision making but he is young and athletic. I can tolerate him but I hope we look to get a big KT or KB.

He was entertaining and could actually beat people off the dribble. He also was mad quick.

not necessarily his athletic ability, because he has that. but his experience. does he make mistakes? yes. but right now, i trust and rely on his experience moreso than blake. blake could very well be good, but we dont know that. however with brown, we know that he will have confidence by the sheer fact hes seent it before. hes been to the finals before. hes played in bigger situations.

experience is what we need, and it is high on the requirement meter for jackson

if shanny doesn't sign, we can pick up dj strawberry; he doesn't have shanny's shot but he sure fills that role and he's more of a pg/sg combo guy than shanny is.
