OT about avatars and sigs affecting site speed
just wondering if anybody here feels like the big animated avatars and sigs slow the site down too much? Wondering because I have a pretty high speed computer and connection and even my computer has to take a second to think so if it takes too long to load on people's computers, I'll could probably get rid of either my avatar or sig or both or at least replace it w/ a less cpu axing one; I've had a slow laptop and been on this site before and it had gotten a little rough in some spots I remember

You have a sig? I don't see it.
I haven't ever really noticed any problems with speed, even when checking the site on my phone.

Sigs have been acting weird since draft night. Sometimes the show, sometimes they don't.

mine doesn't show on this thread, maybe because my poll gets in the way (if I had a nickel...) but do you see it on this page

Re: OT about avatars and sigs affecting site speed
Haven't noticed any issues with speed at home. My phone is a different story, though. It's sometimes an issue at work, too, but generally the whole board is slow, not just when it's loading gifs. So, in summary,
