Really great read. Man we are blessed. Favre for 16 years, and the Rodgers for now and many more? I don't even know what its like to not have a beloved franchise QB. Pour one out for all the teams who struggle at QB.

Of course right when my 4 yr subscription ends they put a Packer on the cover. F- ESPN
Never really cared for ESPN the Mag except for here and there.
Rodgers is the real deal, its funny how the Favre fans have all pretty much went away. I think with a decent team around him that Rodgers has the ability to bring the Lombardi trophy back to Green Bay. I would love to see him get at least 2.

Trying to determine who my favorite professional athlete is...
It is hard to choose between Rodgers and Jennings.

Clay Matthews isn't in that discussion? For me, it's between him and Rodgers. There are plenty of good ones to choose from on the Packers though.

We are definitely blessed and lucky to have Rodgers. Here's to an extremely successful season that brings home some hardware!

I'm gonna tentatively say that for me it could be Finley by the end of the season.

Great read. I think it may be a reach to say he's the best TE now but definetly has great potential. This desrves a new thread

Outstanding article.
We rarely have a chance to dive so deeply into the plays we see on our television screens; Keown did a wonderful job in putting this piece together.
It seems like every day we're finding another reason to love Rodgers. We're ridiculously lucky to have this guy.

Just recently bought his jersey along with Finley. A great guy and an even better quaterback
Can't wait for football season to get started, no better time of the year for sports. Hopefully great seasons for the Badgers and Packers.

While I still love Chuck, he has played himself out of contention with this:

My candidates:
Rodgers
Jennings
Jennings
Weeks
Finley (when he is forced to become more public after blowing up this year)
Bogut
Yovani
Woodson taken out with that picture.
Those are my candidates for favorite player.

Rodgers and Matthews are up there for me. I like Ryan Braun a lot, too, but understand that I'd probably hate him if he played for any other team. As far as basketball players go, I'm becoming a bigger Kevin Durant fan by the day. I need to change my user name on this site. Wade has moved so far away from being the kind of guy I root for.
