I want Earl to stay. Too early to get him traded i reckon. Even though he didnt have the best Sumnmer League, he's still got like 4 more months to iron out some issues. i.e shot selection?

Even though he didn't play for us, i really wish we give Jeremy Lin a good look.

I really like Lawal. If you watch him when he is away from the ball, he is in the post MAULING PEOPLE. Pushing, pulling, wrestling, you will notice where he is, people are moving, he is strong for a rook. His early ofense is a +, you can tell they have already began to mold him to be a scorer also. He has a GROWN MAN!!!! game as compared to Earl Clark, who seems to not like to be touched AT ALL!!!

Anybody checking out Jeremy Linomn the NY summer teram? He'd be a nice 3rd PG here, and can play some SG as well

You are the second to mention him.... I've never heard of him, but Its clear, some of these small schoolers can ball....

If/When Earl becomes a full fledged bust, we may never see another first round pick again. It only solidifies the financial risk outweighs the gain.

We will have wasted 2 roster spots and close to 5 million on Clark and Tucker. Guys like Lou, Frye (last yr) and may be Lawal are much better bargains.

Sure, we did well with Lopez... and could of had Rondo... or Fernandez (who hasn't done anything really) but for the most part, an investment in a second or third yr player at the minimum seems to have paid better dividends.

That's a good point - damn, it's such a crapshoot. Look at Beasely ... he may still have a nice career but not exactly what was prophesied

I'm juts watchng the GSW/Suns game on tivo

we need to sign this kid janning - damn, some great play from him

has he been this good in the other games?

Lawal is just a force of nature, and about as precise. But that will come .... Earl, however ... why does he love his jumper so much when it's clear that the shot hates him?
he does defend nicely and has great presence - he needs to get his head right. he thinks he's somebody else

Are you talking about Jeremy Lin? The Asian guy that went to Harvard and is now on the Mav's Summer League Team?

I remember him as the Asian kid. :D

I did a bit of research on him, he's nothing special. But he is quite courageous when driving to the hoop. I would rather Scottie Reynolds as our 3rd PG, even though I love the fact that an Asian will be playing on the Suns. :D

SCOTTIE REYNOLDS is nasty, and grew up in AZ. he should be out PG of the future and dragon should be moved to the 2spot

Sorry to move this thread up, but how does this make sense? Lets review...

Reynolds: Bigest Weakness coming into the league: Playing PG.

Dragic: (one of the) BiggestStrengths (known by teams draftting): Playmaking

I'm ont saying hes the best at runing a team from the PG position, but he is far and away a better player/playmaker then reynolds. Also, way to peg an UNDERSIZED UNDRAFTED ROOKIE who ISN"T A GOOD POINT GUARD as the future of the team at PG.

I like Scottie, but as a starter anywhere in the league? You've gotta be dang desperate. He can be a good role player. seventh man at the very best.

Dragic is definatly going tobe our pg of the future. If the Sun's are not entirely happy with his ball ahndling skills, we can always draft/sign/trade a shooting guard that has some playmaking skills right?

People get way too hyped up about Scottie Reynolds because of his first team all American thing and how the other four on the team were all drafted in the top 5....

From what I saw - two games - I liked Janning more than Reynolds - his hustle, his smarts, good shooter, fast hands, seemed to always be where the ball was, or where it was going

why don't I know about this kid?
