Darko and Beasley Together in LA

"Beasley will go to Los Angeles next week to work out with Rambis and help learn phases of Rambis' triangle offense. Wolves center Darko Milicic will join Beasley in Los Angeles after concluding workouts this week at Target Center. Kahn said Milicic has been in town to get a jump on his conditioning."

This posted on Canishoopus.com. Glad to see Darko taking the initiative to get an early jump on conditioning. This now explains Darko's omission from his National Team play this summer. Also good to see both of them heading to LA to work out with Rambis personally!

Makes sense. Beasley needs to learn the offence and Darko needs to get in shape. Hopefully Beasley will make an impression on Kurt.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to see Kevin Love join them as well since he lives in the LA area if I remember correctly.

Darko Milicic is in town this week working out with assistant coach Dave Wohl and next week Darko, Beasley and perhaps Martell Webster will work out in L.A. under Kurt Rambis' supervision. Kevin Love won't be there because he'll be at the Team USA mini-camp in Las Vegas.

OT: saw Darko at Kramarszuk's today. Teller kid must have been a little star struck, he could't pack the bag. Darko started taking over :lol:

Also, I hope Martell goes with. Beasley doesn't seem thrilled to be here (most young players aren't thrilled after the first time they get traded), but I hardly feel like Rambis and Darko are the best welcoming party. I want our "good eggs" to start rubbing off on B-easy asap. - (<-disgusting sentence) :-?

--He will not travel to Los Angeles to work out with Rambis and Michael Beasley. Instead, he’ll stay in the Twin Cities until the end of the month, working out and finding a place for he and his family to life this fall.

i'm pretty sure darko says in this that he isn't going to l.a and just staying in minnesota until the end of the month when he'll return to serbia. he looks slimmed down already and his comments are very encouraging about his offensive aggresiveness. REALLY looking forward to what mr milicic can do next year!!
