Deron Williams: 'Al Jefferson, I will make you an allstar!'

Al Jefferson said he spoke to Deron last night, and that Deron guaranteed that he would make AL an alstar. Very good to hear, I'm glad to hear Deron being so positive. Heres to many strong seasons with these two at the helm!

Is there really any competion at the Big man position in the West.

Amare switched confrences.
Dwight's in the East
Bosh is in the east
Boozer is in the East
Lopez is in the east

Lol Deron's acting like it's gonna be hard

Ming's done.

If Nowitzki and Gasol get in it'll be at the Pf .

Then Jefferson will get in at center

Jefferson was listed at C last season and I don't see it changing. Yao will get voted in, but Jefferson will in all likelihood back him up by default. Kaman's numbers will go down with Griffin, as will Camby's with Oden, and then who else provides real competition at center? Bynum could be a threat, but we've been saying that for years.

I thought that was kind of arrogant of Dwill. He coulndt get himself in till last year and it took an injury of CPaul to do it.

Couldn't get himself in till last year? Did you watch him the past 3 years prior? he should be at leasta 3 time all star and you can even make a case for him for a 4th year.

Plus he didn't say he would make HIMSELF an all-star. He said he'd make BIG AL an all-star. Don't forget, he made Memo an all-star and Boozer a 2 time all-star before he ever made the all-star team.

Ming is done???

Ming will be the starting C for the All-Star game 3 years after he dies. In fact, there might never be another starting C for the West til the end of the NBA.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Normally, I would dismiss this as hyperbole, except the big fella got T-Mac voted in as All Star starter last season, so you might just be right on that one.

Never underestimate his massive Asian following. Fan votes will always get him in.

All Star game is mostly about name recognition, so Yao will obviously start.

Not arrogant at all. It's called being a man and saying what's gonna happen.

Steve Nash has the rights to say that.
The next in line might be D-Will.

I think he can live up to his words.

I hope them to be all-star, it would mean Jazz are in the right direction.

I am just saying if Jefferson makes it, Jefferson worked to earn it.

But after reading Lockes article about how Jefferson put up the stats without any help and all, I am excited to see what he puts up here. I jut hope he is smart enough to understand the system.

I have to agree with you and I still hate when guy who arent deserving of the all-star team make it just because they are on a winning team like Josh Howard and David West, who I believe they were one of the last two spots in the all-star team in which should have went to Deron.

Also guys like Mo Williams and Jameer Nelson should have not made the all-star team when they did (I know they are in the east but still) Same goes for Rashard Lewis.
