Anyways guys, I do have a question for you guys, it's about me and some of my personal issues.
Right now, I currently play for my High School Football team and I'm pretty frustrated being a linemen and basically getting no reps in practice. The head coach said he would be ok with me being moved back to Linebacker but I'm not sure If I should go since LB is kind of complicated and I don't have the stamina/speed to play it. I would definitely get reps in though.
This is my first year playing football, and I was liking it at first in summer camp, because I was playing LB...but the head coach thought I would be more competitive at D-Line so he moved me there, I was getting even less practice reps as a linemen. So about a week or two later, I asked the coach why he moved me there and If I could go back, he let me move back. But I still haven't taken the advantage of it. I'm still at D-Line, because I don't really know how to play LB, I don't know the stuff and I don't think I have teh speed or stamina to play it, at least according to this HIIT exercise we do.
What should I do?

I would think you'd want to go to linebacker, appeal to the linebackers coach for as much extra help in understanding as possible and also do the physical training to make the stamina happen. You'll never be sorry you got in shape and if the coach isn't an ass he'll give you the help you need and notice your hard work. You might be rewarded with playing time for it all and it will fit your body type.

Well, I got some other issues too. Like I said I'm not in shape and according to the HIIT workout we did, I hardly have the stamina to play LB, actually I don't even think I have it, just based off of the HIIT workout though.
But you think that my size is definitely more LB material than D-Line material right?
Like said and done, I would not mind being a D-Line If I would get some reps, but they just flat out don't trust me and I feel disrespected and a bit sad when practice is over because I realize that I was just out there for a tan and nothing more. I think I might have to ask the Linebacker Coach If he is willing to re-teach the stuff to me, because one summer camp has already passed by and we are on our 2nd one. The LB coach is also the Defensive Coordinator and he's a screamer at the same time.
Would you advise me to ask other fellow LB for advice and stuff like that? I've asked guys similar questions to this and they all told me it's up to me and it's my decision. My offensive position would still be O-Line though....we have to have a defensive and an offensive position, I just want to play LB on defense instead.
