Clark will never be an All Star. He is destined to be a bench role player his entire career -- that is, if he can find a way to stay in the NBA.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

Much rather have Bass instead of Gortat - but we just drafted two 6'8" bangers, didn't we? I;m happy to have some widebody's on the team finally, but if we add another big, let's get one in the 6'10"-6'11" range, with a few pounds on him

Please... lets quit teasing ourselves with Gortat....

so doubtful we have anything that will get him. There are several teams with cap room and roster space and.... draft picks and talent.

We haven't a prayer if he goes on the open market.

how bout sending turk back to orlando with griffin for gortat and bass?
why wud u send warrick away when hes athletic and we need a big, and we're overloaded with wing players?

by sending turk, wer getting rid of that horrible contract for post-presence. we're also clearing up playing space in the wing positions...

Nash/Dragic
JRich/Chill
Hill/Dudley
Warrick/Frye/Bass
Lopez/Frye/Gortat

last year we lost because of lack of size.. this gives us a lot of size right here and a better bench with Frye and Bass coming off...

Bass sucks. Gortat sucks. Compared to Hedo. I wouldn't do that trade.

Can't see us giving up Gortat for prospects when we're still a championship contender. Ownership has committed to spending what it takes to be competitive (our new arena opening this season helps in that regard), and Gortat was a key bench player last season. Orton does not appear ready for prime time, so I'd be a little surprised to see Gortat go anywhere, unless he's part of a package that returns a star-caliber guy.

ETA: Don't lose faith in Earl just yet. He didn't do much as a freshman at UofL, either, and we were scratching our heads wondering how this guy was rated as a five-star recruit. But he established himself as a soph, and worked his way into being a legit lottery pick by year 3. He may follow a similar path in the pros. Hopefully, he'll earn some more minutes this season.

Thanks for the feedback, I am not worried about his talents, I am worried about his drive.

I still have faith in EC55. With out depth, I am on a 3 year wait and see mode. I think he can put it together. It took some time in college and I think he is that kind of cat.

I still to this day wish we did not sign Warrick. I Hope we can make a move and put Hedo at the 3.
