The Jazz definitely became worse since the deadline and especially so since the offseason.
They went from a fringe contender to a fringe playoff team.

This team isn't bad, but if they think they are any more than a 2nd round out in the West, they are sadly mistaken. And a 2nd round out will be difficult too. I don't think Deron will be going anywhere, but if he was, the Nets DEFINITELY can put together the best package for them and what the Jazz would want.

If they stay healthy and make the playoffs I still don't see them as a top 4 seed and I don't see them beating anyone without homecourt advantage. 1st round exit as is, book it.
