aka the guy who lit up the jazz that one playoff game..He's available to add to our depth at the SG position..I enjoyed him in college, he's a gifted athlete, could replace some of that athletcism we lost with matthews to the blazers.

I am Canadian and therefore get to watch a lot of Raptors games on TV...more than enough to tell you that Joey Graham would not fit in Utah. He just doesn't have the "basketball IQ"; he'll string together a handful of promising games and then play two straight weeks where he looks like a jersey-wearing fan who accidentally wandered onto the court while on his way to the bathroom.

There's simply no way Sloan would put up with him.

I like Joey Graham. He's really physical (225 @ SG?), and may have looked bad in Toronto, but the Jazz's system makes role players seems better better by limited their options / making ball movement more predictable. He torched the Jazz for 21 pts, 10 rebounds in the playoffs when he got more than 5 min of playing time.

I think he's a solid pickup for less than 2 mil (denver wants to give him the min).

Graham is an ok filler, however i think we bring in a 2 or a 5 to complete the roster. Shannon brown if we can afford him.

I am thinking Jeffers and Evans will handle the third string SG and SF spots just fine.

I want a backup big man. Millsap and Jefferson are great starters, but all we have is Fes and an injured Okur to try to fill the rest of the minutes.

I'm a little more concerned with backup PG myself. If Deron goes down we get to field Price and Gaines as our rotation there. A little dangerously thin, IMHO. I'd like to have a backup PG who could start for 10 games if needed, and I don't think Price or Gaines qualify.

If AK backs up the PF while Okur is injured, how do you see the SG and SF rotation looking?

As I have it, that might be too many minutes for Hayward to start out with. Some of this depends on how many minutes Bell can play, and if AK can go back up to full starter minutes (36). Plus, AK might go down, then we're hosed.

If Williams gets hurt, we are hosed anyway. Don't we have all three already signed at PG? I guess we could look for a better backup with a trade. We should have kept Maynor. He would have made a great backup for as long as his rookie contract lasted.

I think you're being very conservative with Bell there. He's good for at least 25, I imagine. Legs will be fresh.
