Not sure if the Bulls want a back up PG but thought of this three way

Chi gets: Jose, Beli, Posey, Mia 1st
NO gets: Deng
TO gets: Okafor and Johnson

or greedy version

NO gets: Deng and Jones
TO gets: Ok, JJ, and Collison :)

actually realistic version

Chi gets: Jose, Beli and Posey
NO gets: Deng, Banks, Evans and Jones
Raps get: Okafor, Peja and Collison

actually don't mind this version as Raps are lacking a 3 pt threat.

C: Okafor, Bargs, Alabi
PF: Bargs, Amir, Davis
SF: Kleiza, Peja, Weems
SG: DD, Barbosa, Weems
PG: Jack, Collison, Barbosa

pretty full roster but a lot of overlap for guys to pick up mins

how about JC and either banks or Evans for the expiring contract of Curry and Chandler we get cap relief and a decent SF

The Knicks just signed Felton, and they've got Douglas so I don't think they would be interested in Jose...and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't give up Chandler for him.

yes i realize that but i don't think that they are that high on Douglas and JC could play along side Felton

How about:

Jose for Hibbert & expiring (Dunleavy, TJ, Foster, Murphy)
Then trade Hibbert for Ty Lawson, TPE for Kmart.

How about Jose and Evans for Andre Miller and Joel Pryzbilla? Plus picks if needed.

Get's us a point guard that can fuel our running game and a shot-blocking center.

I think this is the best for us. Get a young PG and a stop gap PF who expires in 2 years along with Barbosa.

To Toronto: Diaw + Augustin
To Charlotte: Calderon + Evans + MIA pick

* Calderon has to partially waive his TK, 500,000 or more has to be waived.

Diaw can play the 3/4 along with Klezia. Augustin is a nice young PG to groom.

Jack / Augustin / Banks
Derozan / Barbosa / Belinelli
Klezia / Weems
Diaw / Davis / Dorsey
Bargnani / Johnson / Alabi

pretty decent.

What about a deal with the sixers for Young... i doubt they'll need him with Iggy and Turner on the wings... we could probably trade something like Miami's pick and TPE for Young and an expiring contract. We need a starting caliber SF and Young would be a perfect fit with the young gunz...

Lets e-mail BC. Marvin Williams is not good in ATL because of all the perimetre guys and lack of a big guy. He's paid big money to be the 5th or 6th option on a middling playoff team.

He makes a little less money per year than Jose but he's locked up longer with a declining contract. The Hawks definately need a big man the most, but their point guard (Bibby) is also terrible. Calderon would help them out a lot because he can operate in the half court and he's a better shooter at this point and he can create his own shot.

If the Hawks can get a big guy then Marvin will be moved to the bench anyway. Jordan Crawford is going to take up even more time on the wing. Marvin will share minutes with Joe Johnson, Jo. Crawford, Ja. Crawford, Evans and Smith at some point.

Calderon + Miami's 1st round pick for Marvin Williams. Let Marvin have a real shot at being a 3rd option.

The Hawks would be one defensive big man away from being a great team. Since Marvin never finishes games anyway they could roll with this line up when they needed a basket:

Jose
Crawford
J. Johnson
Smith
Horford

Let Joe Johnson and Jamal penetrate and Jose will be money from outside. You'd have 3 guys with tremendous range camping out while Smith slashes and Horford works inside.

Actually Marvin makes a little less than I thought so they might need to add in Beli or D. Jones unguaranted contract. And his contract only declines in the final year, which is a player option.

I'm sure Marvin's agent would love him to move somewhere he could flourish and get that next contract.

Maybe to add incentive for the Hawks we take Evans for Bibby and they get out of his bad contract a year earlier.

Jose, Evan's expirer, Beli and Miami's 1st rounder

for

Marvin Williams, Bibby

Jack / Bibby
DeMar / Barbosa /
Marvin / Weems
Bargnani / Kleiza
Amir / E. Davis / Alabi

With the Hawks showing some interest in Shaq, I suggested a Calderon, Evans, and Weems for Marvin Williams and Bibby deal about a week ago. Thought they might want to shed some salary. Everyone hated it for the Hawks. That being said, I think it's fair to say that the majority of GM's probably like Calderon a lot more than the majority of fans do.

I wouldn't mind taking a chance on two young PG's hoping at least one of them shows the ability to run a team.

1. Jose (and Miami's pick if needed) for
A. TJ Ford or Dunleavy (both ending deals). Will take on Jones for trade exception if they don't want his salary.
B. Eddy Curry or any ending deal.
C. Diaw.

2. $4 mill of our trade exception + future second rounder for Sessions.
3. Jack for Conley.

Jose / Jamal Crawford / Teague
JJ / Jordan Crawford
J-Smith / Weems / M.Evans
Horford / R. Evans
Shaq / Zaza

Might make a nice run for a couple years as long as Shaq can still put up 10-12 points and 6-8 rebounds, which I think he can. Horford would be hard to deal with at power forward with a guy like Shaq. It really helped Amar'e's game. I think Horford would take a step towards legit all-star. The two Crawfords and JJ can all play point guard. Jamal was the back up point guard last year anyway.

It saves the Hawks about 5 million next year and 7.5 million in 2013, plus gives them a starting point guard and a nice back up in Weems (although I'd rather give them Beli's expirer, DJones' unguaranteed contract or even the Miami's 1st).

No, I don't think the Raptors have a need for a guy like Prince. Right now the key positions Toronto needs to address are center and point guard.

On that note, I'm thinking that the Raptors would do well to pick up Darren Collison, had the Tyson Chandler and Diaw trade gone through I would be proposing Bargnani for Collison, though under these circumstances does anyone think New Orleans would take anything else for Collison or that they'd prefer to hold on to him in case Paul bolts?

Considering we can't combine a trade exception with a player, how could this work?

I personally would be all over this deal. Then look to deal Calderon for a center and the team would be set.
