The Pats just released him...If we can't resign Briggs, should the Bears make a serious run at this guy?

In all honesty, hes a smart player, but he lost it all when the injuries started to nag hm when he was a Bear. Never the same a Patriot.

I'd rather have Roosevelt part Deux than Marty Booker part Deux! But I'll highly be mad if we lose Briggs, unless we get something back in return.

We're probably losing Briggs and Berrian. Colvin is dead weight at this point. He's five years removed from the Bears and nowhere near as durable as he once was. We can't rewind the clock to 2001.
