rocket fan here

yeah hill looked lost, you wanna know why? he DM me on twitter and he is tanking to avoid being traded. first he thought it was for bosh, then now iggy.

fine with me, he is my bro,and i hope he stays in h

he was awesome last year when given minutes and he will turn it on again

budinger is good but you aint getting him...we are going to rename the rockets wildcats. iggy, cbud, hill

get your head out

you get patterson, knick picks, ariza and thats it. take it or leave it

i know, you will leave it

fine with me....rockets are already a #4 seed with yao back, miller, patterson, martin all year.

we lost 10 games alone in the last minute, yao missed all 82... the west is seperated by 5 games....yao easily adds 5 seeds to us

we dont need iggy. he is severly undersized...smaller than ariza or martin...cant shoot threes at all...horrible..with yao he will be isolated and terrible...i wouldnt even give you guys ariza straight up for iggy

iggy is better ,but ariza fits our inside -out system better than iggy

i hope we stand pat and get granger at deadline.

so go ahead and bash arizas foot(which is healthy) and budinger(because hes white) and hill(because hes high) so what.....keep paying that massive contract to iggy for 4 years and see where it gets you

Another thing people should understand is that the Hill's girlfriend was due and went into labor during summer league. Without knowing if he was going to be moved or stay in Houston I am pretty sure that is why he looked lost.

True he did good when given minutes and Bud us not going to be moved.

I think they would leave it. What the Rocket have offered is Hill, Ariza and Jeffries for Iggy and even heard of the Rockets throwing in one of the 2012 draft picks.

I my would rather for Iggy over Ariza but that is me

Where does this iggy is undersized stuff come from. hes long enough to defend 6'8" fowards, strong enough to not get bulldosed to the basket by any small foward not named lebron and athletic as anyone. I guess people look at the 6'6" and dont take into account his wingspan and the 204 lbs when hes probably around 220 lbs. wasnt pippen 6'7", 220 lbs. So 1 in shorter than one of the best defenders in league history is severly undersized? And as good as ariza is on D when going against melo in the playoffs he got destroyed. Melo just overpowered him. I know hes gonna get his but I dont think melo woulda did that against iggy.

If The Houston Iguodala trade doesn't include Budinger and Patterson, the Sixers should hang up the phone. Houston can have Thad and Speights in the deal. Houston can keep Hill and any draft pick.

This probably wouldn't be my first option, but I would strongly consider Iggy for Ariza, Jeffries, Patterson and the Houston-Knicks pick swap option. I view of patterson might be a little higher than some other Sixer fans.

If the Sixers get Jeffries, they would have about 17.3M in expiring contracts between Jeffries, Kapono, and Green at the trade deadline (assuming those players aren't traded prior).

With those expirings I would make a Thunder type move and trade them for a contract that runs a year or two longer and incentive to take the longer contract (players or picks). There aren't many two year contracts though (1.5 years at the deadline), but a three year contract would require more incentive and it would still expire the same year as Brand.

The players whose teams might try to add incentive to trade them could be Hamilton (expires '13), Villanueva (expires '13), Jamison (expires '12), Maggette (if things don't work out;expire '13), Bell (expire '12), Najera (expires '12), Carrol (expires '13), and Calderon (expires '13).

Out of that list I would go with either Jamison or Calderon. Jamison's contract is a year shorter, but I would think the raptors have more pieces and might be willing to use them to move Calderon.

I loved that Iggy-Brand trade idea with ORL and NY. I would also include DAL into that.
Something like:

Phi trades: Iggy, Brand, Nocioni
Phi gets: Chandler, Curry, Azubuike, Bass

Orl trades: Carter, Gortat, Bass
Orl gets: Iggy, Brand

NY trades: Curry, Azubuike
NY gets: Carter

Dat trades: Chandler
Dal gets: Gortat, Nocioni

Holiday/Williams
Turner/Green (exp)/Meeks
Azubuike (exp)/Young (exp)/Kapono (exp)
Speights/Bass/Smith (exp)
Chandler (exp)/Hawes (exp)/Curry (exp)

We'd rather have Gortat.

Another try for Toronto, Philly and Indiana

Toronto send Calderon and Demar DeRozan to Indiana, Ed Davis to Philly.

Indiana send Foster and George to Philly, Solomon Jones to Toronto.

Philly send Andre Iguodala to Toronto.

Holiday/Lou
Turner/Meeks/Green
George/Young/Nocioni/Kapono
Davis/Speights/Smith
Brand/Hawes/Foster

Why? With Azubuike Sixers have no need in Nocioni. So they trade him with Gortat for Chandler, who's not the worse option at 5 + an exp.

What do you guys think of this? Definitely change around if you would do something else. i would like to see the Sixers build like the Thunder.

Sixers - Ariza, Jeffries, Hill, and Rockets-Knicks pick swap option.
Rockets - Iggy

At the trade deadline two moves could be made.
Option #1
Sixers - Calderon, Belinelli, small TPE, and two draft picks (most likely protected if from raptors and not Miami)
Raptors - Kapono/Jeffries, Green,
(optional add on) Cavs - Ariza (or Thad) and Jeffries/Kapono Sixers - Jamison, Hickson and a pick

Option #2 (No raps trade)
Sixers - Jamison and Hickson
Cavs - Jeffries/Kapono, and green/Lou (Lou would probably get the Sixers more value back)

The trades don't have to be exactly that, but the point is the Sixers would have the ability to make moves.

Next season before roster (if no moves): Jrue, Turner, Iggy, Brand, Hawes, Lou, Thad, Nocioni, Speights, Green, Kapono, Meeks, Smith. About #14 draft pick.

Next season potential roster: Jrue, Turner, Ariza, Brand, Hawes, Jamison, Calderon, Nocioni, Hickson, Speighs, Belinelli, Meeks, Smith. About #6-8 draft pick. A couple 1sts from the Raps and one 1st from Cavs owed to Sixers. Also about a 1.5M TPE.

After thinking about it for a couple days I still want Hill and Budinger, and if we can't have both I want Budigner instead of Hill.

We already have enough PFs, we need more capable guards.

haha, this is great, how many Hou posters are bothering to come to our board and pitch these crappy trade ideas because Iggy is just awful and they want him on their team.

Nice.

@Brian Chapman I agree with some of the things your saying. Like the fact that some Philly fans may overrate Iggy, but this is the Sixers board. I think they have that right on there board(not general board). Like I said , I get some of your points. But posting them in that manner makes it look like your trolling. Just like some of us Rocket fans wouldn't appreciate another team's fan coming to our board and then taking shots at Yao's injurys (true or not).

Personally, I wouldn't mind Iggy in a Rockets uni but I'd rather explore other options 1st. Iggy is really good player and not all of the offers were crappy. But yeah there are alot of Rockets fans that would like Iggy in HOU.

I posted this idea on the trade board and the reception seems okay

Sixers out- Iggy, Green, Young, Smith
Sixers in- Dunleavy, Przybilla, Batum, Blazers 2011 1st round pick (lottery protected), Bulls 2011 1st round pick (lottery protected)

Blazers out- Przybilla, Miller, Batum, Fernandez, 2011 1st round pick (lottery protected)
Blazers in- Iggy, Wright, Collison

Hornets out- Wright, Collison
Hornets in- Young, Rush

Pacers out- Dunleavy, Rush
Pacers in- Miller, Green, Smith

Bulls out- 2011 1st round pick (lottery protected)
Bulls in- Fernandez

Jrue/Lou
Turner/Meeks
Batum/Nocioni
Brand/Speights
Hawes/Przybilla

Then when Dunleavy, Przybilla, and Kapono expire next summer we could offer a crap load of money to Al Horford and pray Atlanta doesn't match. I know Horford is restricted but if he hasn't signed an extension yet that means to me that he probably wants to leave ATL. If ATL knows Horford doesn't want to come back they probably wont match an offer sheet. Or is my logic way off?

Jrue-ET-Batum-Horford-Hawes with a bench of Lou/Meeks/Speights and 3 2011 1st rounders would be a sickkkkkkkkk up and coming team on the level of the Thunder.

I like the trade for the Sixers. I think Atlanta will probably match any offer for Horford.

The young guys should get a ton of minutes and the Sixers can get a high lottery pick 2011 and build for the playoffs a in two years.

Take out Young and I would do that. Iggy for Batum/Expirings/1st I'd probably do. But Young/Smith/Green for 1st/expirings is a no go for me.
