My cousin, a couple friends and I are big fantasy hoops players and were discussing getting competitive, active owners together for a league and conduct a live draft at a bar in Manhattan next some time in mid-August. I see football leagues doing live drafts and it looks fun but I don't have enough friends into fantasy basketball to put together decent sized league so whoever has ever thought it'd be fun to get together with a few guys, have some beers and conduct a fantasy basketball draft and you live in the NYC area then come join up.
I was thinking of $25 - $50 per team, with 12-16 teams H2H format. Ages of owners preferably 21-35 and provide a link to your fantasy profile so just to confirm that all the owners have a history of being an active owner. I was thinking the draft could take place the weekend of August 6th at a bar in Manhattan that has WiFi. I'm open to suggestions for time and place.
Post here if you are interested.

We could also tether a laptop to my phone for quick internet access in case we can't find a bar with wifi.
