Yeah, Im sure this will have a serious effect on all their performances that night.

Simply put, it was a poor choice of words from a guy that sounds like a self-important, whiny p*ssy.

Poor choice of words. Absolutely. But there is a bit of hypocrisy going on here. Before this incident there were a number(and by no means a small number) of posters on this board wishing harm, injury, pain and even death to members of a certain sports team soley because certain members didnt choose to play with their team.

To me that is far more dispicable than Wades extremely poor choice of words that meant no harm to anyone

Yeah...so...one or two posters represent everybody on this board?

I hope that someone has pointed this out by now, but he wasn't actually comparing a losing streak to 9/11. He was saying that the press will treat it like some sort of disaster. In no way did he trivialize 9/11. In fact, the seriousness of 9/11 is what makes the statement work.

I just came over from the heat board and 90% of those fans feel that what wade said wasnt all that bad. I wonder where these so called humans get their God given belief from?? Do these people actually think this way just to win a basketball title?? Did any of these idiots have a friend or relative die on 9/11?? I just cant believe that they are saying"It wasnt that bad" " he was kidding the media" etc. Look this dumb ass jock just compared losing 2 or 3 basketball games to 9/11 WTF are you kidding me??

Honestly the actual quote is even worse then the regular one.

"You all are going to make it seem like the World Trade is coming down again, but it's not going to be nothing but a couple basketball games." The last part is a FREAKIN DOUBLE NEGATIVE. If we correct him, he is actually saying that the WTC coming down is something but a couple of games.

I realize this is nitpicking, but there's no defending this. He said it casually, without thinking of how idiotic and insensitive he is truly being.

Let's see, maybe now Bosh can make fun of California, or Texas. Then they got the entire country hating them, as if most don't hate them already.

I didn't even know what to say after this comment man. I would love to know wtf Wade was thinking when he said this...

I hope this motivates every team (not only the Knicks) to try and take down this team. I really can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they walk off the court, losing in the playoffs. ( Lebron's already used to it  )

Qualities were already displayed by the likes(we have examples as proof) before such comments came there way.

And who on this board was wanting anyone of these guys dead?

I was one who is hoping they have to deal with injuries like

Back Spasms
Sprained Ankles
Plantar Fasciitis
Sprained Elbow
Pulled Hammy
Sprained Shoulder
Dislocated Finger
Sprained Elbow

None of these injuries extremely serious and hoped with any severity... but more so can be recovered from with rest. What I want more so from the injuries is for them to miss games and throw off their chemistry.

If you don't like it so be it

Just the fact that he is comparing the two is what makes us mad. IDC how they rephrase the quote, Wade SHOULD NOT have said that. Shows their true colors.
