Calvin Klein wrote:Absolutely. And it does show he is really immature. For a few reasons. First, the way he handled it. The people who surround him have way too much influence on him, and not in a good way. Couldn't any of them realize this 1 hour special TV thing was a terrible PR move? It completely destroyed his credibility. Most people saw that right away when he announced it, but none of his "team" did? Weird.

He probably does not care about legacy or ending up as one of the best ever. Probably he cares the most about living in a good/fun city, playing with his best friends, having his all time friends with him (and getting them jobs/summer league), and of course, money.

Going to Miami really shouldn't bother anyone (he can do whatever he wants), but it's just strange that someone with a clear opportunity to be one of the best ever could throw all of that away just to have a good time with his friends.

I never thought being on a good team makes you less of a player. Its one of the dumbest opinions I ever seen, Ever. Stop repeating that garbage. Kobe, Ray Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Barkley, TMac, Wade all failed playing as the lone superstar. At least Bron and Iverson made it to the finals being the lone superstar. And Hakeem Olajuwon was maybe the only player to win a title as the lone superstar. And even after Olajuwon won his first title he recruited Clyde Drexler the following year, who was his best friend going back to college.

u really cant win an argument with a homer. Lebaby would still be a baller but he wont be considered in the same league as magic, bird, and jordan. he can have all the rings he want. great players do great things. jordan didnt quit on chicago when they got bounced by the pistons like crazy. Magic didnt quit the lakers when he was beaten by Bird. Bird just wanted to beat magic. Lebron is trying to take the easy way to get a ring but lets keep it real winning the ring is never easy. He is forever link to cleveland whether he wants it or not! him leaving cleveland because winning championship was harder there than somewhere else will only hurt his "legacy" or the Iconic status that he always coveted!

So how is he messing up his legacy?? He has a greater chance to win multiple championship in Miami than he would have in Cleveland. In Cleveland he had a great chance of becoming the greatest player ever to not win a title. He didnt get much credit as one of the greatest displays of one man taking his team to the finals. Hell not too many people remember that he went to the finals. Winning multiple titles and some bitter fan saying well he was on a great team is better than saying, Lebron didnt win anything. Its just unbelievable, how fans want to discredit Bron for playing with Wade and Bosh, and not discredit Magic for playing with Kareem and Worthy or Jordan with Pippen and Rodman, or Bird with McHale, Dennis Johnson and Parish.

Know my history?? Jordan didnt trade for Rodman or drafted Pippen and Kukoc. In fact Jordan wanted to leave, but the Bulls didnt let him go. There is a history of bad blood between him and management. Jordan never had the opportunity, you cant give the man credit for something he had nothing to do with. Plus the Bulls prove to build a championship team. Cleveland proved they couldnt for seven years with Lebron. SEVEN YEARS!! Olajuwon wanted to leave Houston, Barkley left Philly, Wilt went from team to team. Kobe threaten to go the Clips!! After the organization has proved they can put a title contender together. Magic drafted to team that had great players on them. Lebron was surrounded by the likes of Ricky Davis! Ricky Davis!! and old broken over paid Shaq!! And you say he gave up on the Cavs, dam right he did, just in time to save his legacy.

keyword WANTED. bottomline jordan didnt! He didnt demand a trade so even if he wanted to leave he didnt! he didnt have the chance to ? he never forced the bulls to trade him! Hakeem STAYED, TD stayed, Kobe Stayed. all those guys had the chance to leave but didnt. lets not talking about other players with lebron. we are talking about lebron! if lebron loved winning so much? he should have tried harder to recruit players to play with him but we all know he didnt. U know what? he had a say as to which players come in and out. There is always an excuse as why its okay for lebron to leave and why he should have stayed but fact is HE LEFT! its doesnt take away from the fact that he can still ball but he wont be mentioned with the all time greats.

another thing- those all time greats led THEIR team to the promise land. when LBJ goes to miami, he went there to play with d-wade. U cant say that about jordan, magic, or bird.

ma_falaa_50 pretty much answered already.

People can't seriously see the difference between Magic/KAJ/Worthy, Jordan/Pippen, Bird/McHale/Parish and this? SERIOUSLY?!

I you cannot see the difference, there's no reason to continue talking about it.

Im going to be the guy that is always going to go for the opposing team whenever anyone plays the Heat. I actually want the Lakers to beat the Heat if they both make the finals.

The Heat is now like the high school kid who turns up to a primary school athletics carnval and beats everyone. Everyone is going to cheer for the little kids.

^worst metaphor ever?
