Seattle's climate is generally considered to be better than Minnesota's, but its not the best. That obviously wasn't why they moved though, making that point moot. If you want to go there though, Seattle will probably make the playoffs with a new team before the Wolves make the playoffs next.

However, name the last big name free agent to sign (not re-sign) with the Timberwolves. Not exactly a prime location for players.


The basketball teams that get big name free agents are places like Los Angeles, New York (kinda) or teams where multiple stars colaberate to come together and form a super team (Miami, Boston). What big name free agents is Seattle signing? Anyway, Minneapolis/St. Paul is often times listed as one of the best places to live in the United States for a number of reasons. The only deterrent is the cold in the winter. Seattle has the rain, Minnesota has the snow I guess whatever suits you.
