Last night, a laker-fan friend of mine said, "An empty roster spot is better than Brian Cook." I agreed with him.

I'd have to say I agree as well. This move was just mind-boggling, even if it is only 2yrs/2.5mil.

This is a terrible signing, Cook has hit 15 3 pointers over the last 2 NBA seasons. He is a guy you may bring in to your camp as a non roster invitee and make him prove he can make your team. No reason to give him any kind of contract until he proves he belongs in the league.

steve novak is light years ahead of him in every aspect of the game, and you couldve got him cheaper.

but I like your other 2 signings and all of your draft picks.

dont worry about aminu stinking it up in the summer league. he's one of those players that shines around other good players. he'll be just fine around gordon and blake.
