+1

Hopefully Phil will go against his standard rule of not playing rookies.
Thank you, Phil.

He needs work. He can get it with the Lakers. Could make more money over seas. He needs to add a little muscle and weight. Might get pushed around some. 6'9 is more I bet like 6'8 or 6'7. If he can stick and Phil only stays this year and then retires. He might have a better chance with a coach that want to play his bench. Its all up to him as what he puts into his game is what he will get out of it. Long shot. But if he wants it. Take it.

Ebanks is going to be a solid player, I looked at an interview with him at the combine and he said in the next five years hes going to be an all star, gotta love the attitude. He was projected to be a first round pick to by the way. very solid pick mitch

I agree, sign him if they think he's going to be good, but put in in the D Leauge for a year, and sign a vet that can help us now. Cuz Phil aint playing this guy, plain and simple. We need guys that can help us NOW, this guy looks so skinny he looks like he's malnurished, he faded in five summer leuage games, can you imagine what he'd do in an NBA season? Oh, and he dances like a white guy. LOL

He won't see many minutes but we need to keep him on the roster, at any rate we have to start developing young talent now........ some older players will be stepping downward soon.

I think he is actually 6'9". He looked taller than Caracter. Also - what Queensbridge native would want to lay for Russia?

I'm hoping Devin gets more burn than Walton. I really think he could be a starter in a few years.

Kid looks like he's willing to work hard but we'll see what happens to him if he makes the team. If he does make it, he'll have to keep poised and working hard even if he's not getting playing time because as Deep so well said, some older players WILL be stepping downward soon.
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust
