That was such a great game. We score 120 pts, get 41 rebounds, 30 assists, and still lost by 5 (to 3 future HOFs). I just remember everyone out of their seats the whole game and chanting "Willis sucks" after his cheap shot on KG in game 1 which caused Mitchell to get thrown out by retaliating.
I seriously thought that was the start of something big. Game 3 the following year against Seattle when we went up 2-1 was a crazy fun one too.
Wow, good memories, good times. I was going to comment on Randy Breuer having a crazy game back in the day, but glad someone cited it properly.
Only thing with Garrett, in most games he was simply the beneficiary of his defender having to help on our other better players. Still, he did play well for a bit, especially off of Steph's driving. Again, good times. Wish we could have kept that core together, Googs, Marbury, KG... what could have been.
