Speaking of talented players who were clueless, did anyone notice this article a couple days ago on Gerald Green?

I was floored by some of his interview blurbs. He was humble, fairly well spoken and sounds like a finally might have matured. Talked about not being ready from a maturity standpoint and squandering opportunities in his early years. It was like the interview was w/ a totally different person. There's a small chance things may have clicked. Apparently playing in Russia was a wake up call for him.

I watched a Lakers summer league game against SA the other day and he scored 18 pts and actually had a couple nice defensive plays.

At 24 yo, I'd be in favor of giving him a camp invite.

Love to get Gerald Green on a cheap contract. That wwould give us flexibility regarding Henderson. Hendo looked a little better in SL, but I'm still not sold he has a very high upside.
