Its an inside article but the gist is OKC could get Durant, Paul and Howard in 2012.

Westbrook will be a top 10 calabar PG in the comming season. Really closer to the top 5. Highly doubt Paul comes to OKC. I see him in NYC. But, neither here nor there. Howard would advisally be an AMAZING catch. AMAZING!

Paul, Durant, and Howard would be better than Wade, James, Bosh. Their skills complement each other in passing, shooting, rebounding, and shot blocking whereas James's and Wade's skills tend to overlap and there is a clear lack of shooting. Also, C and PG are the two hardest positions to fill so it would be easier to find spare parts for Paul, Durant, Howard's other starters.

The most interesting aspect of what's happening in Miami is the idea of players taking their own destiny's into their hands and jointly deciding where they will play.

Is Miami laying the blue print for other players and other teams or is it more of a perfect storm situation, where we may never see three players come together like this again?

I see Presti as the anti-Riley in terms of team building. Presti believes the draft is the best way to build a sustainable winner, he methodical, disciplined and relatively conservative. Riley is the gambler, he'd much prefer to acquire established talent through elaborate trades or FA signing that build through the draft. Riley is a pitch man and not at all conservative.

I don't see Presti putting this team in a position to go after Howard and Paul in 2012, but I could see teams like Orlando going that route.

No it didn't. It said those 3 in OKC would be the best bet to beat the Heat's 3, not that there was any possibility of it
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Doubtful Howard leaves Orlando. He's made it clear he wants to remain with the Magic his entire career.

Sam Presti would never sign up for this.

You guys are headed in the right direction and have a hell'va team right now. One that I expect to be in the upper elite of the conference this up coming season. I don't think it's economically smart to commit 300 mil + to 3 players. Just my opinion and a topic we've been having out with Heat fans since they signed their 3, they've swarmed our board like a mad pack of killer bees trying to prove a point.

Anyway I think about you're team daily, you guys gave us the most trouble of any playoff team we face and that's real talk. Seriously we have to find a way to stunt your teams growth with some youth of our own. That's why we took Devin Ebanks and Derrick Caracter. We have to get younger while we can to absorb the punishment the Thunder will eventually wreck upon the west in a few years.

Like a pack of (Please Use More Appropriate Word) killer bees.

thanks for the kind words. I believe if we stick to the plan and have alittle luck we'll be dangerous in a season or two.

Super teams forming will lead to the destruction of the NBA. Morals will be put on a back burner all for championships, and teams will start signing anyone and everyone to fill in the blanks. Our kids will look up to these guys whom have no class and will idolize them. To be honest (and i may just be over thinking matters) i can not see myself watching sports anymore in the years to come. Quite sad

Those guys are not all going to OKC. There's a much better chance that Orlando dumps salary, and they go to Orlando, or a team like the Brooklyn Nets makes it happen.
