Meet the enemy: Miami Heat

Post#1 » by evildallas » Mon Jul 19, 2010 7:05 pm

The Heat sign Jamal Magloire and now have 10 players under contract. That's the same number as the Atlanta Hawks right now. Just an observation. I wonder if they'll sign a full 15 prior to use signing 12?

Mario Chalmers vs Jeff Teague
Dwayne Wade vs Joe Johnson
Lebron James vs Marvin Williams
Chris Bosh vs Josh Smith
Joel Anthony vs Al Horford
Mike Miller vs Jamal Crawford
Udonis Haslim vs Mike Bibby
Zydrunas Ilgauskas vs Zaza Pachulia
Jamal Magloire vs Maurice Evans
Dexter Pittman vs Jordan Crawford

Actually, they may have 11 already, Kenny Hasbrouck (6-3 G) is listed on their signed roster. They've got a lot more bigs on their roster than we do. They are slim in the PG right now, but Arroyo might be their next signing.

We better run the ball down their throats if they're going to have a big man rotation of Bosh, decrepit vets, and big immobile bodies.

Them being able to resign Haslem is HUGE! That is a very good team. Still they might have problems with ORL and LAL but other than that they look ridiculously good.

They wont be able to protect to the rim for shat but they got two guys who are allowed to mug and molest on the perimeter. Wade and LeBron are now known for their great defense even though its average and it becomes good because there allowed to rape there match ups. Either way they dont have any shot blockers at the rim. Bosh plays garbage defense.

That team is a nightmare. How can we matchup with that? How can anyone match up with that?
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Why do some people think Udonis is some stud forward? Hes a great forward off the bench but not much more.

Also, whats up with everyone saying the Heat now have 3 of the top 5, 8, or 10 players in the league? When did Bosh become recognized? He was the best player on bad teams. Hasnt played a meaningful playoff game, and cant carry his team. Hes top 20, maybe 15, but the talk of him being this top 5 player is crazy.
