Did a mod just troll? lol

The TO's and fouls are concerning. I think he's going to absolutely shine in some games this season, but will be frustrating to watch at times as well. That's pretty much to be expected from any rookie.

The conditioning issue shouldn't be too worrisome. Dally is a solid backup who I think will play major minutes until Cousins adjusts to the NBA schedule.

Yeah, it does suck to be a kings fan. You got me.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

Look, it's still July, if he gets Rookie of the Month in December or January then I'll be happier.

Cousins was a high risk, high reward guy, and there still alot to happen before we start any ROY talk.

Klomp wrote:Just because we might not see 6 games in 7 days or back-to-back-to-backs, doesn't mean he won't get fatigued during the season. Are you going to keep giving excuses in the regular season, or finally own up to the fact that he might not be as good as advertised.

Listen, I was also impressed with some of the things he did out there like passing and running the floor, but it is foolish to not take his shooting struggles into consideration when examining his performance.

He was not the only one who had to deal with the circumstances they were dealt. But he was probably one of the most underwhelming performers when looking at the whole picture.

Whatever happens in the regular season HAPPENS. But I can GUARANTEE YOU we will not see a stretch of 6 games in 7 nights at any point this season. Or next. Or next after that...

Your problem is, you're not looking at the whole picture either. Just the last two games.

Funny how they all wanted Cousins before the draft and asoon as they found out their dumb ass GM would pass him up they tried to make themselves feel better.

Still could be though. That's the chance the Kings took when they chose him. You saw some of the red flags during those last three games, he got really down on himself and was basically rendered completely useless in every facet of the game. Hopefully he'll realize that it's all just more incentive to get in better condition and temper his frustration.

Yeah it could, but like I said before, you don't generally see 3 games in 3 nights during the season. Much less 6 in 7 nights. Personally, I wouldn't read TOO much into it. I play pickup basketball myself from time to time, and I know I would be dog tired too if I tried to play 6 days out of the week with minimal rest. Plus its summer and I know Vegas gets pretty HOT this time of year.

What exactly is so funny? There are plenty of Wolves fans who still would have prefered Kahn to take Cousins. In fact when that poll started, people were overwhelmingly in favor of picking Cousins. The guy has skill, no one denies that.

It wasn't until later that a big glaring issue popped up. Cousins and his agent played games with the Wolves and It was obvious that he didn't want to go there. He started being "cute" and naming every lottery team as his "favorite" purposely omitting the Wolves. That was the biggest reason why I didn't want Cousins on the Wolves. We don't need another player pulling a Marbury. You've seen his temper and frustration just playing the game. Can you imagine how much worse that would be if he was on a team he didn't want to play for?

Klomp brought up some legit concerns, you guys got defensive, then he trolled. Don't play that game. Just let it go.

I'm as big a Cousins supporter as you'll find, and I think his attitude "problems" this week were just him getting tired and exhausted on the court which led to frustration (and I think his main personality concerns are just that - frusttrations) - but he didn't deserve this award. He had three great games and three crap ones.

Right, there wasnt anything that we didnt know come lottery time. Its just a random mechanism to defend Kahn once people realize he was going to pass him up. The vibe I get it is that you guys want him to fail so Kahn wont look like any more a moron than he already is. I mean its like you guys are obsessing over him, you guys seem more worried about Cousins than your own player who couldnt even man up and play a couple of pick up games apparently.

Yeah, about what I expected of you. You just couldn't resist taking jabs and spouting hyperbole. The last post in that thread is almost a month old, I would hardly call that obsessing. No need for me to keep this conversation with you.

Who do you think deserved it, Lightning Strike?

Look at the threads on your board, Cousins is brought up in almost all of them.

But yeah your coming on our board trying to convince us that the guy your team passes on sucks because your GM is a moron. Ok buddy.
