caracter's stats will be similar to blair's so about 6/6 because you guys clearly don't realize how much space this guy takes up and that he is a rebounding machine, he's a beast that should have been drafter in the 1st round.... so i'd say about 5pts/6rebs with about 15 mins
ebanks i kind of see as a bust, he can't shoot and doesn't know how to defend nba talent yet, it will take him a couple of yrs ...i see about 3 ppg/2 rbs/ 1or2 ast./ maybe a little less than a steal....
blake about 8p/3a - i don't believe he will shoot well either, considering that everyone who plays with on our team never does until playoffs, then he will step up (hopefully)

No and No. Caracter only averaged over 6 boards (8) in his senior year and that was against the generally unimpressive talent of the Conference USA. Blair averaged 9 boards his freshman year and 12.3 his senior year against the large big man talent pool that is the Big East (they bang and board, that's the style).

Blair also averaged more points in college because he hustles more. Caracter will be a solid player, but the Blair comparisons are completely wrong.

Got to remember 2 things. Phil does not play rookies. So there stats will be so low that it is to low to really count and there is a chance neither of them make the team. Do the Lakers want to pay rookies to sit on the bench and do nothing. If I were these rookies. I go over seas and make some good money and wait till phil is gone and hope next year to have a coach who has a clue and play the bench.

There is no such thing as an uninjured NBA player that is paid to do nothing.

After first trip to the Finals, Pau was officially labled Gasoft. Who do you think helped shed that label? DJ Mbenga maybe?

Every man on the roster works hard either in practice to get the starters ready, or in games. Rookies don't get it any easier.

you guys are a little pessimistic about Blake.

I think he'll be better than the #s above. Not to the level of the last game of the season, of course, he was just playing out of his mind, but I think he'll really benefit from the great looks he'll get because of the doubles that Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum will draw.

My guess:

Blake: 28 MPG / 13 PPG / 2 RPG / 4.5 (I don't know how I decided on the "0.5," but it looked good) APG / 2 3'sPG

(what can I say, I'm an optimist)

Ebanks: 8 MPG / 5 PPG / 2 RPG / 0.5 APG
Caracter: 8 MPG / 4 PPG / 3 RPG / 0 APG

(not too optimistic about rookie minutes)

Try to think of what he said in terms of Phil playing rookies... we didn't play rookies on our way to 2 championships, nor did we use our full bench.

We need to resign Brown. He is only of the young players on the team that Phil actually plays.
