List of Orlando's Trades:

Charlotte - Orlando

Jameer Nelson - 8,100,000
Mickael Pietrus - 5,300,00
2011 1st Round Pick

for

DJ Augustin - 2,540,400
Gerald Wallace - 9,000,000

11,540,400 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 14,525,625 > 13,400,000

Rationale: Orlando is excited about acquiring Gerald Wallace, a first-team all-NBA defender to play alongside reigning and two-time DPOY Dwight Howard. This, and following moves have given me the best defensive front-court in the NBA. DJ Augustin will play off of the bench. We're sad to see Jameer and Mickael go. Both have been important pieces in our recent success, but all of we felt that it was time to go a different different.

Washington - Orlando

Vince Carter - 17,522,375

for

Gilbert Arenas - 17,730,693

Salaries are only 28k different. They match.

Rationale: We wouldn't have traded all-star guard Jameer Nelson without a plan in place to bring in a replacement. What we have gotten is more than that. Arenas, a 3-time allstar and all-NBA player, will bring necessary starpower to the Magic. The Eastern Conference became much more difficult through free agency this summer. We feel that a team with Arenas at the point, Wallace on the wing, and Howard in the middle is good enough to contend with anyone in the league. For those with questions about Arenas' health or demeanor, we will say this and only this:

Arenas is healthy. He has had no troubles with his knee in over a year. His workload will be down from what it was in Washington, so you will see a rejuvenated and fresh Gilbert Arenas. As per his suspension: at least he wasn't running an illegal dog-fighting circuit.

Milwaukee - Orlando

Rashard Lewis - 19,573,711
Daniel Orton - 1,028,400

for

John Salmons - 8,000,000
Drew Gooden - 5,765,000
Corey Maggette - 9,600,000

20,602,111 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 25,852,638.75 > 23,365,000

Rationale: I just really wanted to dump Rashard Lewis, and at worst he, I found a new starting 2 in Salmons and good depth with Maggette and Gooden. You're a pretty rich team if you can boast that you have a 20 pgg. guy at 4 positions and on the bench, which I now do.

Denver - Orlando

JJ Redick - 5,750,000
Marcin Gortat - 6,322,320
Chris Duhon - 3,500,000

for

Kenyon Martin - 16,795,454
Brian Butch (LOL) - 854,389
2012 top-10 protected 1st

Works in the trade checker.

Rationale: Orlando is happy to consolidate some a group of role-players into a large expiring contract. We feel that it will be easy to trade Martin's for assets that will really help this team become a champion. Worst case scenario, we've acquired a veteran player who is a strong paint defender who is good for a near double-double every night. Butch will be used in a follow-up trade to Cleveland to make salaries match.

These are all of the trades I have made involving only my original assets. The following trades were made as follow-ups, and are pending confirmation of those above. I only want to let everyone know where Orlando is right now.

Cleveland - Orlando

Anderson Varejao - 7,031,818

for

Ryan Anderson - 1,409,040
Brandon Bass - 4,000,000
Brian Butch - 854,389 (Acquired from Denver)
2011 2nd Round Pick

for

Anderson Varejao - 7,031,818

6,663,429 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 8,429,286.25 > 7,031,818

Rationale: Orlando is happy to trade assets that would not receive adequate playing time here and what we hope will be the 60th pick in the 2011 draft for Anderson Varejao. He is a great energy player who brings defense and rebounding to the table. The model we are building in Orlando is centered around defense, and he is the third player on our roster that was an all-NBA defender in 2009-10.

Edit: My trade with Oklahoma City has been expanded to redirect the assets gained from Los Angeles to OKC. Los Angeles gives and receives the same package as before. The easiest way to write this is in a 3-team trade.

Los Angeles - Oklahoma City - Orlando

Orlando Trades :

DJ Augustin - 2,540,400 (Acquired from Charlotte)
John Salmons - 8,000,000 (Acquired from Milwaukee)
2012 1st Round Pick (Acquired from Denver - Top-10 protected)
2012 1st Round Pick

Orlando Receives:

Thabo Sefolosha - 3,000,000
Serge Ibaka - 1,204,200
Eric Maynor - 1,417,800

Orlando gives much more than they receive in salary, which is legal under the rules of the CBA.

Los Angeles Trades:

Al-Farouq Aminu - 2,563,320
DeAndre Jordan - 854,389

LA Receives:

John Salmons - 8,000,000 (Acquired from Milwaukee)
2012 1st Round Pick (Acquired from Denver - Top-10 protected)

Los Angeles is under the salary cap far enough to facilitate this trade.

OKC Trades:

Thabo Sefolosha - 3,000,000
Serge Ibaka - 1,204,200
Eric Maynor - 1,417,800

OKC Receives:

Al-Farouq Aminu - 2,563,320
DeAndre Jordan - 854,389
DJ Augustin - 2,540,400
2012 1st from Orlando

Rationale: We loved John Salmons' game, but not his contract. Orlando is happy to be able to turn him and DJ Augustin into three outstanding young players. Serge Ibaka was is an outstanding shot-blocker and defender and deepens our already league-best front-court. Eric Maynor is a serviceable back-up point guard who can learn under Gilbert Arenas. The prize in our eyes is Thabo Sefolosha. He gives us a 4th all-NBA defender. Now we can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that we have the league's best defense.

So, for anyone interested, my depth chart should look like...

Arenas/Maynor
Sefolosha/Maggette
Wallace/Richardson
Martin/Ibaka/Gooden/Varejao
Howard/Varejao/Jordan

Orlando is looking to trade Maggette, Gooden, and Martin for a 2-guard and back-up 1.

The Orlando Magic have come to an agreement for four separate trades:

Charlotte - Orlando

Jameer Nelson - 8,100,000
Mickael Pietrus - 5,300,00
2011 1st Round Pick

for

DJ Augustin - 2,540,400
Gerald Wallace - 9,000,000

11,540,400 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 14,525,625 > 13,400,000

Charlotte accepts, although we're sad to lose our All-Star SF and an up and coming PG we're very excited to bring in Pietrus and Nelson to add a spark for this team offensivley

Thabo’s D will be missed, but we think Harden deserves the starting spot and shooting was one of the things OKC needed. Getting Harden’s shooting in the starting lineup and adding DJ’s shooting helps solve that problem. Plus Westbrrok and DJ can play together which will allow me to always have a 3 point shooter on the court with Westbrook and KD.

DJ should have a HUGE bounce back year since he will now be starting, plus his best season came with Matt Carroll next to him, now that can happen again :D This also makes KD very happy reuniting him with his college roommate and best friend !!!!!!!

Losing Ibaka is gonna be hard to overcome but I love Aminu’s upside. And D.Jordan showed some great flash’s of finally getting it last season so it was worth the risk, IMO

Orlando and Los Angeles have come to terms on a deal.

Lamar Odom - 8,200,000
Steve Blake - 4,000,000
Luke Walton - 5,260,000
2011 2nd Round Pick

for

Kenyon Martin - 16,795,454
Eric Maynor - 1,417,800
Serge Ibaka - 1,204,200

Just eyeballing it, you can tell the salaries are close enough.

Rationale: Kenyon Martin was more valuable to Orlando as a trade asset than as a player. We feel that a return of Lamar Odom is a huge upgrade on the court. He brings so many things to the table, with the ability to effectively play 3 positions. He is good for 12-15/10 a night as a starter and we could not be more excited. Steve Blake will come in and provide steady and unselfish play behind Gilbert Arenas. He provides outside shooting and smart ball. Luke Walton is pretty worthless though. We're sad to lose Ibaka, but we felt that Odom was more important to contending now.

We accept this deal. Hurts losing Odom, who we LOVE, but we dont move real any starters and get rid of Walton's deal. We have always loved Ibaka. If i dont get what i want for Kobe, i may just keep him. But this deal helps us out in rebuild or win now do to the fact we move walton's contract. We love what Kmart brings in toughness and rebounding as well as an Expiring contract. Good dealing Orlando.

To be courteous, I will compile all of my deals and put them in chronological order on August first to make it easy for the commish.

IF the right deal was vetoed... many trades could unravel.

There is a 24 hour period for vetoes with every trade. Posting a deluge of trades with players already having moved a couple times from team to team and still 12 days away from start of actual trades...

You must be able to see how it could cause a huge mess. :dontknow:

it will get really ugly soon. Orlando you should hold on trading for a while, unless the commish gets going on acceptin deals. I think only 1 or 2 deals should be posted per GM, until furthur notice.

It could yes, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's ahead of the game. I don't see any reason for my trades to be veto'ed regardless. I'm not worried.

What we need is for the commish to just ditch the August 1st date since there is no point in delaying approvals for 12 days.

It will most likely be a disaster if trades keep piling up.

Agreed, also there was only 1 person really against it (Sambone) and he's already made a trade. lol

Just keep adding the signings until august 1st, after that balls to the walls.

I think some people just need to chill out. There is no reason to make 100 trades in a day.

screw it, I will just pile on...

Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors have a blockbuster to announce.

Chris Bosh - $14,500,000
Mike Miller - $4,300,000
Udonis Haslem - $3,450,000

Total $22,250,000

for

David Lee - $10,500,000
Dan Gadzuric - $7,248,325
Stephen Curry - $2,913,840

Total $20,662,165

Miami does this to fill the PG spot while not taking too big a hit at PF. Our depth will suffer as a result but we feel that can be addressed at a later date.

The Warriors accept this deal. We weren't sure if we were going to rebuild or not even when this deal fell in my lap. Deal just turned out to be too good to pass up. Bosh is one of the best power forwards in the league and while Lee is an excellent player he is horribly overpaid. So I kinda saw this as a deal that allowed me to get one of the best young power forwards in the game, a good rotation guy in Miller and a cheaper replacement for Lee at the cost of Stephen Curry. I couldn't pass it up.

The Knicks and Lakers have a Blockbuster to announce.

Knicks Incoming
Kobe Bryant $24,806,250
2011 First Round Pick

Knicks Outgoing/LA Incoming
Amare Stoudemire $16,500,000
Danilo Gallinari $3,304,560
Wilson Chandler $2,130,482

When your aquiring Kobe Bryant, really you shouldn't be complaining and I'm not. He gives us a fantastic shooting guard, something we have been wanting, and a late game closer. Although it is sad to see STAT(one of my Favs , actually) and Gallo go, but I still have curry's expiring to gain more assets. Were under the cap so it works, P.S Do we updated our rosters, or wait till the Commish verifies them?
