Let's clarify what assistant GM's can do, ok? Because I don't want any trades breaking down because of them and what-not.

Good luck to all!

I had my best player (Stoudemire) for only 33 minutes per game (compared to some guys who actually pushed their top dogs into the 38-39 range) and I ended up with the 3rd best record in the league.

A lot had to do with injuries and fit. Throwing a bunch of guys together that don't fit doesn't make a winning team in sim anymore it does in real life and that's what a lot of you guys had (players that didn't fit each other's best skills).

It's not just about taking the best player at the time or the most recognized name...

Yeah but you had completely inaccurate DC's. I had players in my top rotation not even on my team. Obviously the fault of those who did but realize it now.

You mean I had completely accurate DC's or you had completely inaccurate DC's? If I had inaccurate DC's and still managed 3rd best...damn. :D

And how'd you manage to have players at the top of your rotation not even on your team? You mean you're inactive guys were at the top of your rotation?

For those interested, the Wizards GM, GallosOurFuture, is looking for assistant GM's for those who could not obtain a team in the Build a team 4.0. This is a good opportunity for those who want to either learn BAT, for the next BAT or for those veterans of BAT, who missed out. For those interested, they are asked to contact GallosOurFuture at GallosOurFuture@aim.com or on AIM at, GallosOurFuture. If you would like, you can also quote this post stating that you are interested, and leave your contact info and GallosOurFuture will contact you with a quick tiny survey about your knowloedge of basketball and about Build a team.

Thanks in advance,

I have 0 experience with build a team but always wanted to get in on it as it seems fun. I would be down with helping and learning the ropes. Feel free to contact me at thornwolf@gmail.com to quiz me on my basketball knowledge or to just shoot the schitte.

Sounds good to me. I'll enjoy having help and others opinions to help me out with drafting and trading. I'll contact you soon, right now it looks like you and Snipuz will both be the 2 GMs I select, unless there is more intrest with others which I than would have to make it into an interview process. Anyways, I'll contact you tonight. Thanks for your interest!

What exactly are assistant GM's supposed to do? Basically stay up during the overnight hours and make the pick you tell them to make so the GM can sleep and be pretty in the morning? :D

If so, I'd like a couple assistants as well since I seriously need my beauty sleep.

But what are you going to have him do is my question...other than staying up all night so your team doesn't miss a pick. :D Or actually providing input on who to pick and how to structure a team?

I assume I am going to go on a lot of European scouting trips, help structure salaries, deal with the particularly annoying agents and GMs.

Oh and get coffee.

They will be the 2 other voices in my head, and if need be, my assistants AND I, will take turns making the late night picks. If not, I'll do the late night picks myself. But like I said, they'd be the 2 other voices, to maybe give me other opinions other than my own.

I'm looking for several top secret assistant GM. This job includes infiltrating other organizations under the guise of their "assistant gm" or "assistant to the gm" and finding out as much information as possible regarding draft boards, strategy, etc. This job also entails convincing the rival GMs that you officially work for to make lopsided deals with me in my favor.

If interested, contact Larry Johnson, LJ4pointplay@gmail.com

The Portland Trail Blazers are looking to merge their franchise with 1 or 2 others. Management feels that a potential 36 player roster will surely leave at least 8 players uninjured for actual basketball playing.
