How much proof do you need? Didn't Amare' come out and say he talked to Tony and Melo on TV?
I think I remember Wade saying before free agency that he would talk to James during free agency.

Tampering happened. Super Friends are in South Beach. Stern is fuming. LBJ just possibly revamped & rebooted the NBA. Kobe is about the greatest Laker of all time. Knicks are relevant. What else could you possibly want. Only a lockout could derail this train...

Gossip colums by third party sources are not exactly proof Stearn would need to fine someone.

Sure it happens, never said it didn't, The Orginal article said that this won't happen again, it clearly will. It's niave to think it won't.

.

Then that's not against CBA.

Stean maybe fuming but he has no proof, and there's not a whole lot he can do if players talk behind the scenes, 3 teams gutted their roster with a chance to sign Lebron, that kinda proves that there was not really any management involvement in some conspiriacy if three teams gutted their roster for a "chance" to sign some free agents.

Wait so when earlier in the summer when Kerr and Cuban were fined for joking that they would want James on their teams. The league made it clear that ANY discussions involving soon to be free agent players was unacceptable and the league would fine anyone that did that. So if G.Ms or owners that are friends joke about it they get fined, but Wade openly telling people that him and Bosch and Lebron have discused this several times in the past few years isnt. Haaa?

audio evidence has emerged of Dwyane Wade discussing James coming a year ago.
The following excerpt comes from an interview Wade did in July of 2009 on The Dan Patrick Show:
“We’ve considered it years ago. You considered as a talk. We think about, ‘wow we could play on the same team some day? Wow, that’d be great.’ Last year (2008) when he (LeBron James) came down for our (charity event) Summer Groove in Miami, we joked about being in the same locker room as each other. … you never know what could happen.”
Patrick then asked Wade if he could envision the two teaming up in New York when they became free agents in 2010.
“I can imagine it, but … I love being in Miami, so I have to say if we want to play (together) he has to come to Miami.”

Everyone fromt he Heats Org. and Riley knew that In order for there to be any legitimate tampering charges against the Heat or Wade, there has to be material proof that a someone (Heat) whoever it was a Player etc was speaking to James on behalf of the team which Wade was. So the proof is there right from Wades mouth on a recorded interview.

So there was major proof there.

Rat and the Heat knew that the only reason they can get away with this is if Wade did all the talking and it would'nt be considered tampering according to the (CBA)

Players are not considered G.Ms, Scouts or F.O employees as it applies to tampering. Yet Rat and Wade knew that as long as Wade did all the talking and Rat cleared cap space with the intentions of Wade coming through with convincing Lefail to come to Miami AS IT WAS DISCUSSED IT THE PAST, then come July 8th Lefail is going to be a Heat player.

CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU.

Dude, are you serious. You just answered your own idiotic self. They cleared cap to sing Lefail and ONLY Lefail. Teams did clear cap space to sign Lebron and possibly someone else to a max deal, BUT NOT THREE MAX DEALS. What part of this dont you understand?

The Heat signed THREE MAX PLAYERS. No team in the history of the NBA has signed THREE max Players AT ONE TIME IN THE OFFSEASON. What Pat did and how he did it clearly shows that his intentions and that this was all planned out ahead of time.

leave it alone... heat took a HUGE GAMBLE and it paid off.

the current CBA was drafted in 1998/99 and was initially designed to help teams keep hold of franchise players not to prevent superteams.

it took 12 years and the end of the CBA's life for someone with the balls to pull off this type of free agency coup, so just appreciate the artistry. riley played by the rules, and gambled the house.

it just means another feather in kobe's cap when he beats the superfriends and completes the dynasty 11 months from now

Is it safe to say this move by Riley and James have together reinvented the NBA and we are at the beginning of a new probably more prosperous era for the league maybe not individual players but the league?

Or does the consolidation of teams doom smaller markets thus hurt the league and destroy the fan base?

By the way Magic I was just saying tampering isnt anything new. Its just that this move was pretty flagrant by Riley.
