You can keep track of the transactions and just write 'pending' next to each trade til approved but don't update rosters til deals are approved is my thoughts as it could cause problems for the commish.

Subject to approval of the Okafor trade, New Orleans have arranged a follow up deal with the Sacramento Kings:

New Orleans trades:

Marcus Thornton - $762,500

New Orleans receives:

Omri Casspi - $1,254,480.

Due to the salaries not matching, NOH will use the traded player exception created in the Okafor deal with Portland, to absorb Casspi's incoming salary.

A short statement from the Hornets GM: "We are pleased to welcome Omri to New Orleans. We feel he suits the long-term role at Small Forward for this team, and feel his outside game makes our wing trio of Paul, Gordon and Casspi one of the deadliest - and youngest - in the league. He also brings an enthusiastic Israeli following with him [money] that I'm sure our fans will appreciate. It was tough to let Marcus go, he proved last season he has all the tools to succeed at NBA level, but with the acquisition of Gordon and Bayless, he would be seeing very few minutes on this team."

Confirmed. Thornton is a more explosive scorer and can play very well off Evans. We also free up minutes for Greene and gain more positional flexibility to make further moves.

Knicks Incoming
Kobe Bryant $24,806,250
2011 First Round Pick

Knicks Outgoing/LA Incoming
Amare Stoudemire $16,500,000
Danilo Gallinari $3,304,560
Wilson Chandler $2,130,482

When your aquiring Kobe Bryant, really you shouldn't be complaining and I'm not. He gives us a fantastic shooting guard, something we have been wanting, and a late game closer. Although it is sad to see STAT(one of my Favs , actually) and Gallo go, but I still have curry's expiring to gain more assets. Were under the cap so it works, P.S Do we updated our rosters, or wait till the Commish verifies them?

The deal is actually this:

LAL outgoing:

Kobe Bryant $24,806,250

NYK outgoing:

Amare Stoudemire $16,500,000
Danilo Gallinari $3,304,560
Wilson Chandler $2,130,482
Toney Douglas $1,071,000

Total Salaries: $23,006,042
Clearly the Salaries work.

Why?
I accept this deal for alot of reason's, but i will highlight a few. First, I really wanted that Memphis package for Kobe, but it was a no go. Then i thought to myself "F it ill just keep kobe". Then i said to myself " im a man to my word, i gotta continue the rebuild". LOL With that being said, i stuck to the rebuild and moved Kobe. Here i get a star big man who fits perfectly with Bynum. I get a guy in Gallinari who when open has the wettest jumper in the NBA, and with the team i will create, he will be open. I also get Chandler who for the moment will be my starting 2 guard. It might not be the best deal out there for Kobe, but this is the deal i want. This is a game, yes, and i want to stick to my plan. Kobe is Kobe but we got to move on. Its one of the saddest days in LA, and yet one of the happiest. Kobe we wish you the best of luck in New York, the mecca of Bball. THis also means i dont have to get a big man in return for Gasol.

Cleveland - Orlando

Anderson Varejao - 7,031,818

Ryan Anderson - 1,409,040
Brandon Bass - 4,000,000
Brian Butch - 854,389 (Acquired from Denver)

Cleveland accepts. This trade is all about getting youth and depth moving forward. I think it will really help in my rebuilding effort. Good luck Andy!

Klomp wrote:BREAKING NEWS: Bitter Rivals Agree to Trade

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (RGM) -- Two Central Division rivals agreed to terms on a trade early Monday morning. Bucks' head coach Scott Skiles was not immediately available to comment. Word initially broke late last night When Milwaukee's GM Klomp made a post on his Twitter page announcing that he approved a trade that would be announced sometime Monday.

In the deal, the Cavaliers will send forward Antawn Jamison and guard Delonte West to Milwaukee for Michael Redd's corpse and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

CLE Trades: Antawn Jamison ($13,358,905), Delonte West ($4,500,000)
Total: $17,858,905 (x 1.25 = $22,323,631)

MIL Trades: Michael Redd ($18,300,000), Luc Richard Mbah a Moute ($854,389)
Total: $19,154,389

After word got out, Klomp send out a press release saying the following:

"This is a new day for citizens of Milwaukee and Wisconsin, and the entire National Basketball Association. We will no longer continue to accept the failure of being behind the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers in fan support. This is only the beginning of a transformation within the Milwaukee Bucks' organization from being the laughing stock of the league to being annual playoff contenders."

"We would like to wish Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and the corpse of Michael Redd well as they move east to Cleveland. We feel Antawn Jamison provides the perfect complementary piece alongside Bogut, and the acquisition of Delonte West gives us some future cap flexibility."

Cleveland accepts. Mbah a Moute is a great defender and a hustle player. With the right players around him he could be a good part of my core - now it just comes down to getting some shooters and a primary scorer.

Also I think that Dolonte is a cancer and one of the main reasons James left Cleveland. I wanted him gone even though he is a good player, and getting some value in return was just icing on the cake.

Trade approved. Please update rosters and transaction history. To both kindly upload draft picks details for the next four years otherwise I will hold subsequent deals. Tnx.

Detroit accepts. We hate to lose Gordon, but his fit with the roster wasn't there. Here we pick up two long term assets for our team, that can either grow with our core, or be used as trade assets down the line.

Edit - The main incentive was bringing Darko back to Detroit.

The Raptors and Grizzlies have come to an agreement on a second trade between the teams:

Jarrett Jack $4,600,000
Solomon Alabi (unsure of official numbers yet)*
for
rights to Xavier Henry
rights to Greivis Vasquez

*3 year contract, contract speculated to start at around $700K

The Grizzlies use their cap room to absorb Jack and Alabi's contracts.

The Raptors accept. Henry is a legitimate prospect and adds to our young core moving forward. I'm willing to let these guys battle it out for the future jobs on my team and I do believe DeRozan/Henry is my wing combo of the future. Vasquez to me is a solid prospect as well and one I believe is definitely sixth man or starting PG material.

Confirmed. We add a replacment for Thabeet in Alabi who we think can become a good defensive shotblocking center given time. We also love what Jack brings for us. He is only 26 but he gives us veteran leadership, size, defense and 41% from 3. He is also willing to come off the bench if the team needs it.

Also our cheap owner refused to give Henry the customary 120% scale on his rookie contract. Egh.

[Pending approval of previous trades]

The Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76'ers have agreed to the following:

Part 1: 76'ers send Evan Turner [4,602,720] to the Nuggets for a TPE

Denver has a 11 Million TPE so this deal works

Part 2:

The Nuggets will send:
Ty Lawson - 1,546,560
J.R Smith- 6,694,851
Taj Gibson - 1,117,680
Chris Andersen - 3,942,000
Total: $13,301,091 x 1.25 = 16626363.8

The 76'ers will send:

Elton Brand - $15,959,100

This is simply a consolidation move for our team. We needed to make a move that would bring in a co-star for rose and we believe that Evan Turner is that guy. With Rose, Turner, Deng and Nene occupying a majority of the minutes, it was extremely hard to justify keeping the rest of our bench. We wish Lawson, Smith, Gibson and Andersen all the best of luck in the future.

Philly accepts.

Though we are sending out the #2 pick in this year's draft, he is leaving with Brand. This organization wishes Brand the best of luck in the mile-high city.

Ty Lawson and Taj Gibson are solid prospects and we are very happy to welcome them to this organization. JR Smith will have the ability to start next to Andre and we look forward to his fantastic three point shooting. Finally, Philly is very excited to welcome the league's best shot-blocker in Chris Anderson.

New Orleans have agreed a trade with the Charlotte Bobcats.

New Orleans send:

Emeka Okafor - $11,540,375
Craig Brackins - $1,306,920

for

Erick Dampier - $13,078,000

Why? Simply a cost cutting move. We hope Emeka returns to the form got him recognition, now he's home in Charlotte.

Just a quick amend to this (doesn't affect the deal) - the TPE is now part of the Morris Peterson to OKC TPE.

Sorry, I should clarify, the deal is in 2 parts. Casspi for TPE, then Thornton is absorbed into Sac's cap space.

I can't beleive im going to type this!

Lakers outgoing:

Kobe Bryant (yeah i said it) $24,806,250
Steve Blake $4,000,000
2011 LAL 2nd
2011 Miami 2nd

Total Salaries: $28,806,250

Memphis outoing:

O.J. Mayo $4,456,200
Rudy Gay $13,603,750
Marc Gasol $3,580,247
Demarre Carroll $1,085,400
Darrell Arthur $1,123,680

Total Salaries: $23,849,277 x 1.25 % plus 100,000 = $30,011,596
Deal Works.

Why?

We do this to stick to our plan and rebuild the Lakers. I honestly can not beleive im moving Kobe Bryant, but its a game, and We were sick of seeing the Lakers win the "win now" category. We want to win the "win Future" Category for once. With that being said, Mayo might end up being the Triangle PG, but for right now he's Kobe's replacement. Gasol will back up Bynum giving me a sickning center combo, and were not sure what Gay will be on this team yet, but we like his youth, just not so much his contract. Good dealing B.I. and good luck building around Kobe now. We wish Kobe the best of luck in Memphis and Blake, sorry you didn't win a ring with LAL, which would have happened! ; )

Confirmed. We morgage our future for a shot to build a contender around a top 2 player in the league. We may shed salary and look to add a max FA in 2011. LA took Pau from us a few years ago, and now they get his brother. We'll take Kobe.
