we don't need superteams we need some balance in the league. Melo/Paul need to go the knicks as much that hurts saying that as sixer fan. Knicks/Heat rivalry would be back. Lakers are good either way back to back titles like you guys need Melo more then the other teams.

If we were smart wed think about a trade for carmelo cuz kobe is not getting any younger, he will be done in about 4 or 5 years we are going to have to have a plan for post kobe laker ball.

I rather wait till 2012 and go after Dwight and try to grab Deron after Kobe.

Lakers will sit tight with there main guys for at least a year.

Only Odom might be shopped with Sasha.

But yeah Kobe came in the league with Ray Allen & Iverson. He has some miles on him
but to trade him. I am not sure. He has a no trade clause.

Umm. Someone brought this up a while a go. The Lakers should not rebuild thru free agency and immediately expect a returns the finals. History has shown teams usually rebuild through the draft to return to prominence.

But with so many quality players on the Lakers its hard to imagine, with ability maturation, they couldn't make a run without Kobe in a few years.

I'd have a heart attack if D-Will goes to LAL. Always wanted him on our squad more than any other player.
